<br />Bob Schwartzkopf, Weed Superintendent, appeared in regard to the
<br />job description and responsibilities they are looking for in the
<br />person to replace him when he leaves Hall County employment at the
<br />end of July. He also ask what the salary range will be for the
<br />position so-that he would know what amounts to enter into the Weed
<br />Control budget.

<br />Creek in conjunction with the bridge replacement project (BRS-2250(1)

<br />State of Nebraska, Department of Roads, federal aid projects
<br />planning to be constructed during 1994.
<br />US Army Corps of Engineers - nationwide permit program in
<br />Nebraska.
<br />Mayor Dobesh and City Administrator, Zachary Zoul - in response
<br />to the request to a city-county meeting.

<br />Leslie made motion, Hartman seconded to place communications on file.

<br />Abernethy made motion, Leslie seconded to refer copy of court case
<br />between Communication Workers of America, AFL-CIO vs Hall County,
<br />Nebraska and Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge No. 10 to the County
<br />Attorney. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and
<br />Stelk voted yes, none voted no.

<br />Motion made by Hartman, seconded by Landis to lease by the month with
<br />the option to buy, the Sheeps Foot (packer) mentioned above. Abernethy,

<br />County Board Assistant - Schwartzkopf wants to use the county
<br />van for a weed tour of Supts. to Columbus and Platte Center on May 21st.
<br />Howard Maxon to fill out FEMA grants information for floods.
<br />NACO letter concerning the insurance increase. There will be
<br />a 4.5 increase in the insurance. (health insurance)

<br />Frauen made motion, Abernethy seconded to authorize the Chairman to sign
<br />agreement project RPT 401. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie,
<br />Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no.

<br />Dates for interviewing candiates for the Weed Control Supt. was set
<br />for Wednesday, May 26th, and Thursday, May 27th at 7:30 P.M.

<br />11:50.A.M. -:meeting was recessed until 1:30 P.M.

<br />Supervisors meeting was to convene at 1:30, but due to a committee
<br />meeting which ran overtime, the Board of Supervisors meeting did not
<br />restart until 2:10 P.M. Abernethy was absent.

<br />Motion made by_Frauen, seconded by Leslie to offer the Ambulance
<br />committee a 4% increase to $148,572.00 for 5 years with contract
<br />till 97/99 budget. Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie and Stelk voted
<br />yes, Quandt voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Salaries of appointed officials were set for the 1993/94 budget year
<br />as follows with the possibility of step increases after evaluations
<br />for the official has been made.
