<br />,93r ~f <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />..:..~~ <br />~ <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING, MARCH 16, 1993 <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 A.M. from adjourned session <br />and by published call with Chairman Gary Quandt presiding. <br /> <br />Present on roll call were Richard Frauen, Richard Hartman, Margaret Landis, <br />Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt and Tammie Stelk. Absent was Irene Abernethy. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Leslie <br /> <br />Pledge of Allegiance was given. <br /> <br />Minutes of March 9th meeting were approved, with correction notes, on motion <br />by Frauen, seconded by Hartman. Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and <br />Ste1k voted yes, none voted no, with Abernethy absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />County Attorney's office was not represented at today's meeting. <br /> <br />Resolution request from Public Works Director was delayed until next week's <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Commenced audit of monthly claims. <br />Morning session was spen~ on claim audit only. <br /> <br />Recessed for lunch at 12:00 Noon. Will meet in lobby at Safety Center at <br />1:30 p.m. for quarterly tour of jail facility and to look at area for the <br />new Correction Director office. <br /> <br />Board members returned to regular session at 2:50 P.M. Six Board members and <br />Board Assistant took the Jail tour. <br />Motion by Leslie, seconded by Landis to declare emergency and put the resolu- <br />tion request from Public Works Director for load limits on certain county <br />asphalt roads on today's agenda. Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and <br />Stelk voted yes, none voted no, with Abernethy absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Leslie to adopt Resolution #1473 as presented. <br />Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no, <br />with Abernethy absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTIOI;~ 7...3 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the operation of heavy vehicles in the <br />Spring of the year because of climatic conditions will <br />seriously damage or destroy the following described <br />highway: <br /> <br />From the Southwest corner of Section Nineteen (19), <br />Township Ten (10) North, Range Eleven (11) West~ thence <br />Easterly 2 miles to Hwy. 30, commonly referred to as <br />Wood River Road. <br /> <br />From the Southwest corner of section Seventeen <br />(17), Township Ten (10) North, Range Eleven (11) West~ <br />thence south 1/2 mile to Bwy. 30, commonly referred to <br />as 130th Road. <br /> <br />From the Southwest corner of Section Twenty-Six <br />(26), Township Eleven (11) North, Range Eleven (11) <br />West~ thence east 5 1/2 miles to Hwy. 30, commonly <br />referred to as Busker Highway. <br /> <br />All of Elk Drive, Cougar Drive, and Antelope Drive <br />in Wildwood Subdivision. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the above described highways are under <br />Ball County's jurisdiction and Hall County is <br />responsible for maintenance of the same, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it would be in the best interest of the <br />residents of Hall County to limit and restrict the <br />weight of vehicles operating on the highway during the <br />Spring of the year. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Ball County Board of <br />Supervisors hereby for ~p'eriod of~to e~ceed n~ <br />days beginning the /uM-day of - ~ALA- ,1'Z. , <br />restricts the weight ~f vehicles on t e above-described <br />road as follows: <br />
