<br />Final Plat for Petzoldt Subdivion, located on west side of North Road,
<br />~ immediately north of White Cloud Road,' was presented for consideration.
<br />Letter from Regional Planning Commission was read, recommending the
<br />approval of final plat. Nelson Helm, Regional Planning Director was present
<br />and explained the location.
<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Leslie, to approve and authorize Chairman
<br />to sign the final plat for Petzoldt Subdivision. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman,
<br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Dan Hostler, Public Works Director explained the three title sheets for three
<br />projects Wood River Southwest~ Wood River west and AIda east for bridges
<br />programeaunder federal funding.
<br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Frauen to approve and authorize chairman
<br />to sign the three title sheets as presented. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman,
<br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt, and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Discussion on Highway Department second quarterly report ending January 1, 1993
<br />as presented last week. Hostler Public 'Works Director explained several
<br />items in the report and answered questions.
<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Hartman to accept and place on file the
<br />Highway Department second quarterly report. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman,
<br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />contracts with Midwest Sales for steel and guard rail materials and Wilson
<br />Concrete 'for culvert materials on bids taken recently,for Project C40(136).

<br />voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Letter was read from lR School Board in regard to the duration of closing of
<br />Webb Road north of Grand Island, for bridge construction. Requested action
<br />be taken to open Webb Road.
<br />Hostler, Public'Works Director explained the contract. He is to write
<br />letter to lR School Board and explain the reasons.

<br />Hostler, reported on the National Assbciation of Counties for County Engineers
<br />in San Antonio Texas that he had attended. He was elected Vice President
<br />of Central Region; group. NACE paid his expenses to attend.

<br />Request for Conditional Use permit to increase the height of existing communi-
<br />cations tower facility for Electronics Service.
<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Hartman to set PUblic Hearing for March:

<br />and gravel production at present location to install an asphalt plant to be

<br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Frauen to set Public Hearing for Tuesday
<br />March 2, 1993 at 10:30 A.M. and refer to committee for review prior to the
<br />hearing. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt; and Stelk voted
<br />yes, none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Letter was read from Miltoh-G. Moravek, Projects Director Central Platte
<br />Natural Resources District, in regard to amendment to Lower Wood River/Upper
<br />Warm Slough Project, increase to Hall County $1125.00 which is 11.25% of
<br />feasibility costs.
<br />Discussion followed and Supervisor Hartman related information he had
<br />heard.
<br />Motion by Hartman to delay action two weeks until hear Merrick' County"'.' .!..-
<br />Board:, decision. Motion died for lack of second.
