<br />Lauri Shultis, Director Crisis Center requested County Board to apply for the
<br />McKinney Homeless Assistance Act for Emergency Shelter grant program. She
<br />presented'letter and application for county board consideration. Request is
<br />for $29,280.00 for 2 year and applications are due by February 10, 1993. Funds
<br />requested is to fund expanding shelter space to accommodate the waiting list of
<br />persons needing shelter.
<br />Motion by Abernethy, seconded by Leslie to approve the request and auth-
<br />orize chairman to sign letter and applica1:~on_for McKinney grant to the
<br />Nebraska Department of Social Services~equesting$29,280.00 Abernethy,
<br />Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and SEeTk voted yes, none voted no.

<br />County Stats for July-Dec 1992 compared to 1989 thru 1992 stats.

<br />accepting the bids of Wilson Concrete ,for Concrete $20,16Q"(W and'Midwest
<br />Sales corrected bid of $31,928.12

<br />meeting, meeting with Ed Armstrong on College Park; Region III Mental
<br />Health Advisory Board meeting, and the tour with janitorial services.
