<br />93~ f/ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING, JANUARY 12, 1993 <br /> <br />~ The Hall County Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 A.M. from adjourned session <br />and by published call with Chairperson Margaret Landis presiding. <br /> <br />Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Frauen, Richard Hartman, <br />Margaret Landis, Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt and Tammie Stelk. None were <br />absent. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Abernethy. <br /> <br />Pledge of Allegiance was given. <br /> <br />Minutes of January 5th meeting were accepted after correction on page 2 in <br />paragraph 1 to read "primary and secondary (township) roads, on motion by <br />Frauen, seconded on Quandt and amended by Abernethy. On roll call vote all <br />voted yes. <br /> <br />County Clerk reported the official bonds for fburyear te~mof offfiice for <br />Margaret Landis, Robert Leslie and Tammie Stelk were on file in County Judge's <br />office as required by State Statute. <br /> <br />County Clerk called for nominations for 1993 Chairman for Hall County Board <br />of Supervisors: <br />Frauen nominated Hartman <br />Abernethy nominated Quandt <br /> <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Leslie the nominations close and_~t a___ <br />written ballot for Chairman. On roll call vote all voted yes. <br /> <br />Deputy County Attorney, County Board Assistant and County Clerk counted the <br />ballots~ Hartman 2 votes, Quandt 5 votes <br /> <br />County Clerk presented the gavel to Gary Quandt for 1993 Chairman of Hall <br />County Board of Supervisors. <br /> <br />County Clerk called for <br />Board of Supervisors. <br />Landis nominated Leslie <br />Hartman nominated Frauen, <br />Stelk nominated Hartman, <br /> <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Hartman <br />unanimous ballot for Robert Leslie. <br /> <br />nominations for 1993 Vice Chairman for Hall County <br /> <br />who declined the nomination <br />who declined the nomination <br /> <br />to cease nominations and cast a <br />On roll call vote all voted yes. <br /> <br />Robert Leslie will serve as 1993 Vice Chairman for Hall County Board. <br /> <br />Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz presented each board member with a <br />copy of the Conditional Use Permit for Heartland Coop which was granted last <br />fall for review. The Aurora Coop Conditional Use Permit is on agenda for <br />later today and wanted to remind board members of conditional use permit <br />wording. <br /> <br />Deputy Attorney Janulewicz presented and reviewed the license agreement with <br />Family Violence Coalition for use of office space in courthouse for 1 year for <br />one dollar. They have been using the space since August, and now have proof of <br />insurance coverage. Attorney recommends approving the agreement. <br /> <br />Motion by Landis, seconded by Abernethy to approve the agreement as presented. <br />On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and <br />Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Hartman to authorize chairman to sign the <br />agreement with Family Violence Coalition. On roll call vote Abernethy, <br />Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Landis, seconded by Abernethy to accept payment and have check <br />deposited in County Treasurer's office for $1.00 as per agreement. On roll <br />call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted <br />yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Deputy County Attorney and County Clerk spoke with the board members in regard <br />to need to transfer funds as loan to Noxious Weed Fund until tax funds are <br />received in County Treasurer's office. Discussion followed <br />Motion by Leslie, seconded by Abernethy to transfer from Inheritance <br />Fund/ Capital Outlay line to the Noxious Weed Fund $20,000.00 to be repaid <br />when tax collections are available and have Deputy Attorney prepare resolu- <br />tion.
