Motion made by Quandt, seconded by Aberenthy to accept the office reports. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes. None voted no. Frauen was absent. Ellen Merrill, Board Assistant, asked the Board about a reception for officials leaving office in January. Quandt will be responsible for the cake and Ellen will take care of the plaques etc. She asked concerning audits for these officers. Kelley will have an audit but there will be none for Arnett and Colman. Merrill discussed checking the school inventory with Colman and Harnisch. She asked for direction concerninghQoksetc that Harnisch would not want. The Board indicated that they would lik~__'l:.o _ have_filing cabinets and perhaps other offices could use other~urI>lus equipment. - , - f::: Quandt made motion, seconded by Landis to have Merrill send a \1~-t:"t~J:'___ to the City in appreciation for th~off_e_r to use City Hall foi~Boat',d meetings, but felt that it would~becincc>liveniefi~ror board meetings to be held out of the county building. Abernethy-, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Frauen was absent. Motion made by Quandt, seconded by Landis asking Merrill to send a letter to the City in regards to the old City Hall building stating that the County is interested in the building with the possibility of acquiring the building. Hartman, Landis, Leslie and Quandt voted yes, Abernethy and Stelk voted no, Frauen was absent. Motion carried. BOARD REPORTS STELK - meeting with Funeral Homes. Wants to ask Merrill to do a survey of_the 22 Central Cistrict counties to see what they are paying forfhrieraIs. - -'Also reported on a Visitors Promot~on meet~ng. ---~- LANDIS - reported on a request of a model airplane group wanting the use of land for the purpose of flying their planes. HARTMAN - Janitoral services could possible be done by the Mental Retardation people for some if not all of the buildings. QUANDT - Asked that duplications of services between City and County be looked into with a possible meeting to work this out. Chairman adjourned meeting at 12:15 P.M.
