THe Board ask that he keep the fees the <br />same as previous years. <br /> <br />Hartman read a letter from Bill Beaq, Weed Supt. giving the meetings <br />and cbnfernceshe would be attending in the future. Merrill was ask to <br />get the dates and length of time involved for these meetings. <br /> <br />Merrill stated that the Safety Committee should remain as a committee, <br />the Board mutually agreed. <br /> <br />Rick Stepanek, Building & Grounds Supt., reported on various needs <br />and projects that the department was involved in at the time. <br />1. Replacing tile in front of the Register of Deeds office. <br />2. Correcting Administration Building sidew~lk drainage problem - should <br />he continue to use salt or should the side walk be raised? Was told <br />to check it out and get it fixed. <br />3. Concrete work at Health Dept and Social Services will be done. <br />4. Blacktop crack in front of the Social Services building will be fixed. <br />5. Remodeling of bathroom at Social Services building - will get bids <br />and work done. <br />6. Bathroom in Health Department - plumber saw no problems with convert- <br />ing to,an ADA accessible, authorized to have the work done. <br /> <br />Judge Martin, Judge Bush and Clerk Magistrate Mahood discusseq their <br />concern and needs for more room in the courthouse. Various long range <br />plans were discussed but no action taken. <br /> <br />Ray Meyer, Midwest Insurance & Associates, assured the Board that he <br />could offer same insurance for less premium and no change in coverage. <br />Hartman wanted to check with other counties who now have insurance <br />with Midwest. <br />
