<br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING, SEPTEMBER 6, 1994

<br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 A.M. from adjourned
<br />session and by published call with Chairman Richard Hartman presiding.
<br />
<br />Present on roil call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Frauen, Richard
<br />Hartman, Margaret Landis, Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt and Tammie Stelk.
<br />
<br />Invocation was given by Gary Quandt.
<br />
<br />Pledge of Allegiance was given.
<br />
<br />Minutes of August 30th was accepted by motion of Frauen, seconded by
<br />Quandt. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk
<br />voted yes, none voted no.
<br />
<br />Motion'made by Quandt, seconded by Abernethy to adopt resolution~
<br />concerning signs for traffic control during Husker Harvest Days.
<br />Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes,
<br />none voted no.
<br />
<br />Landis made motion, seconded by Leslie to give Agricultural Institute of
<br />Nebraska the authority to place directional signs for Husker Harvest Days.
<br />Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes,
<br />none voted no.
<br />
<br />Motion made by Landis, seconded by Leslie to also allow Agricultural
<br />Institute to use a water truck to control the dust problem at the
<br />Husker Harvest Day show. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie,
<br />Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no.

<br />COMMUNICATIONS
<br />
<br />Mid Plains Center - vacating of Children's Village building.
<br />
<br />Thomas B Miller, Director of NE Law Enforcement Training Center -
<br />passage of LB#'s effecting law enforcement training prcedures.
<br />
<br />UNL Cooperative Extension - waste management and pollution prevention.
<br />
<br />Agricultural Institute of NE - water truck at Husker Harvest show.
<br />
<br />GI Area Chamber of Commerce - permission to place direction signs
<br />along county roads for the Husker Harvest Days, Sept 13, 14 & 15.
<br />
<br />Quandt made motion, seconded by Frauen to accept and place on file
<br />the above communications which were passed to the Board members.
<br />Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes,
<br />none voted no.
<br />
<br />COMMITTEE REPORTS
<br />
<br />Stelk - Midland Area on Aging, Personnel meeting, Criminal Justice
<br />meeting and Solid Waste Management meeting.
<br />
<br />Leslie - Criminal Justice meeting.
<br />
<br />Abernethy - Family Violence Coalition meeting, Juvenile Justice
<br />meeting and Solid Waste Management meeting.
<br />
<br />Quandt - Industrial Foundation meeting.
<br />
<br />Landis ask that zoning for building a home in the rural area of the county
<br />be put on the agenda for September 20th.
<br />
<br />Landis ask for suggestions of topics for discussion at the Central District
<br />meeting on September 15th.
<br />
<br />Motion made by Frauen, seconded by Quandt to pay the claim submitted
<br />earlier by James Wagoner, after receiving clarification of service
<br />dates. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk
<br />voted yes, none voted no.
<br />
<br />Resolutions ~8~and ~uthoriZing conditional use permits to R.B
<br />Land Company a Werne~truction which was approved August 30th
<br />was presented to the Board for signatures.
<br />
<br />Chairman adjourned the meeting at 9:55 A.M. Next regular scheduled
