Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, <br />Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />County Board Assistant Ellen Merrill gave weekly report. She presented each <br />Board Member with copy of the 1994-1995 proposed Hall County Budget. (2) She <br />had received call from lady in regard to county park being closed July 31, <br />they had planned and sent invitations to family reunion for that day. (3) <br />Have sold one set of old law books to Attorney in Lincoln for $500.00, other <br />law books will be boxed and sold at County Auction Saturday, July 30th. (4) <br />Andy Baird, Industrial Foundation requested use of County Van for Thursday <br />August 4th <br /> <br />Quandt and Landis also reported they had received phone call from Tom Dexter <br />about family reunion planned at Hall County Park on Sunday July 31st. <br />Following discuss.:L0n,Motion by Landis, seconded by Abernethy, do not close <br />park on Sunday July 31 for county employees picnic because of short notice. <br />Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none <br />voted no, with Frauen absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Supervisor Frauen had been excused from the meeting at 2:35 p.m. <br /> <br />Discussed the 1994-95 proposed Hall County budget and Board Assistant stated <br />1993-1994 tax levy .4688, proposed 1994-1995 is .4703 <br />Board members felt needed to have meeting to review the budget figures, before <br />they meet with department heads for reviews next week, on August 1, 3 & 4th. <br />Public Hearing is planned for August 23rd. <br /> <br />Board members agreed to meeting Thursday Evening at 7:00 P.M. in County Board <br />Room for Budget worksession. <br /> <br />Meeting was recessed at 3:00 p.m. until Thursday, July 28th at 7:00 p.m. for <br />Budget worksession. <br /> <br />Next regular meeting will be Tuesday, August 2, 1994 at 9:00 a.m. <br /> <br /> <br />
