<br />to pay for haircut for client with $3.50 limit. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman,

<br />Hartman reported there is a Mid Plains Center meeting tomorrow.

<br />Quandt: Attended City meeting on Solid Waste Management, also the Interchange
<br />meeting and the next meeting will be held July 28th. Attended the State
<br />Board of Equalization meeting in Lincoln last Thursday and asked Jan
<br />Pelland, County Assessor to come to meeting and explain the effects the
<br />proposal might have.
<br />
<br />Jan Pelland, County Assessor explained the proposals would increase Hall County
<br />residential 5.3%, drop commercial 6.1%; drop irrigated 4.7%, dr()pdryland
<br />4.7% and drop grassland 6.3% would leave an estimated increas~9f8,936,554.

<br />Abernethy: attended Weed Control meeting and their proposed budget was
<br />discussed.
<br />
<br />Chairman Hartman appointed Landis, Stelk and Quandt to serve on the committee
<br />for the conflict of interest attorney cases.

<br />Discussed the County Employees picnic to be held July 31, 1994 at Hall County
<br />Park. Discussion on closing the park during hours for picnic.
<br />Motion by Landis, seconded by Stelk to close George Clayton Hall County
<br />Park on sunday, July 31, 1994 from 9:00 a.m. til 3:00 p.m. for County empl-
<br />oyees picnic. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk
<br />voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried
