<br />Elvin & Carline Denman and Hall County Building Inspector Max Boersen were
<br />present in regard to request from Mr & Mrs Denman for conditional use permit
<br />for the former Fireside Campgrounds, 6963 S us Hiway 281, for personal use
<br />only and invited guests and camping clubs with option for future use as a
<br />commercial RV park and campground if use warrants.
<br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Abernethy to set Public Hearing for Condit-
<br />ional Use Permit for May 10, 1994 at 10;00 a.m. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman,
<br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Discussion on bookmobile. Abernethy asked for information from Board Members
<br />on the old contract.

<br />Letter was read from Donna & Jerry Gewecke, Wood River in regard to taxes on
<br />30' of vacant lot they had purchased.
<br />County Assessor Pelland explained the method of taxing lots.

<br />April 27, 1994 as to status of State of Nebraska offices being closed.
<br />Office of Governor Nelson had informed NACO office that all State of
<br />Nebraska Offices will be open that day.

<br />2. Copy of Letter to Janulewicz, Hall County Keno Administrator from Rod Huebner
<br />requesting new operating hours on Sundays during summer months from May 1,
<br />1994 thru September 15, 1994 be same as West Side Lanes, 5:00 p.m. till
<br />10:00 p.m.

<br />3. Hall County Housing Authority letter requesting reappointment of Commiss~
<br />ioner Deryl E. Bayne for 5~years commencing July 1, 1994. (Board members

<br />Quandt attended Personnel Committee meeting with officers.
<br />
<br />Abernethy attended College Park Area meeting; Headstart meeting.
<br />
<br />Stelk, attended Senior Citizens Industries meeting, personnel committee meeting
<br />with officers and presented the following committe recommendation which was
<br />discussed. Stelk stated would like to check City of Grand Island recognition
<br />policy. (Board members agreed for her to check out the policy)
