Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt <br />and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br /> <br />Quandt attended the Industrial Foundation Meeting. <br /> <br />Frauen reported on tree planting at County Park. <br /> <br />Abernethy reported on Weed Control meeting she attended last night. <br /> <br />Stelk attended Solid Waste Management meetings, and Senior Citizens Industries <br />meeting has been changed til April 21st. <br /> <br />Landis requested brief meetingo~ReUse Committee members f9llowing today's <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Leslie reported on meeting in regard to computers for corrections department. <br />Have reviewed and will have another meeting on May 20th. <br /> <br />Hartman reported the Mid Nebraska Retardation court hearing was being held in <br />Hastings today. He had received phone call short time ago stating judge had <br />granted an injunction and hearing set for April 27th. <br /> <br />Ellen Merrill, County Board Assistant gave weekly report. Had letters -for <br />board members signatures to Gerald Jones, Regional Planning Commission member <br />on his resignation; Garden County Board Chairman Carlson's family a letter <br />of symphathy. Working on complaint in regard to parking at Social Services <br />Department by client; Building & Grounds Committee needs to meet; in regard ! <br />to elevator; Need to ~?cuss complaint by citizen in regard to A~egulatrons <br />on doors at courthouse:; I Bookmobile.Cc>mmittee meeting tonight at 8:00 p.m.; <br />Law Enforcement Committee to meetf with th-eVillage officials on April 18th. <br />Doris Mason, County Treasurer purcha~computer terminal $500.00, is it to be <br />paid from Computer line item; Discussed letter prepared to send to State <br />Senators in regard to Homestead Exemption bill and Welfare bill. <br /> <br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Landis for County Treasurer to pay for computer <br />terminal from her budget. Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie and Quandt voted <br />yes, Abernethy and Stelk voted no. Motion carried on 5 yes, 2 no vote. <br /> <br />Abernethy reported on visit to County Court twice last week to'ob.ser_ve_~he <br />court action. <br /> <br />Stelk requested extending Administration Building hours be placed on agenda <br />for next week's meeting, so board members can discuss before Personnel Committee <br />meeting next Thursday. <br /> <br />County Clerk presented the 1994 budget forms received from State Auditor's <br />office. Board members need to decide who will be preparing the budget this <br />
