<br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING, APRIL 12, 1994

<br />~ The Hall County Board of Superviso~~ met at 9:00 a.m. from adjourned session
<br />and by published call with Chairman Richard Hartman presiding.
<br />
<br />Present were Irene Abernethy, Richard Frauen, Richard Hartman, Margaret Landis,
<br />Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt and Tammie Stelk. None were absent.
<br />
<br />Invocation" was given by Abernethy.
<br />
<br />Pledge of Allegiance was given.
<br />
<br />Minutes of April 5th meeting were accepted as received, on motion by Quandt,
<br />seconded by Frauen. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and
<br />Stelk voted yes," none voted no. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Deputy County Atit.orney Jerome Janulewicz was present.
<br />Janulewicz presented copies of the quarterly report for Keno. He reported
<br />havereceivea request. for an additional Keno location, is on the agenda for
<br />April 26th meeting.'
<br />
<br />Discussion on dumping trash along county roads and cost for county to clean
<br />roadsides. .
<br />Motion by Landis, seconded by Quandt to send letter to area Senators
<br />to propose legislation to increase and the enforcement of fine for dumping
<br />trash., Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted
<br />yes, none voted no. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Dan Hostler, Public Works Director spoke in regard to Public Hearing set for
<br />July 5th to review roads in industrial tracts. He has been checking records
<br />for owners of property and need to send letters 90 days prior to the hearing.
<br />Need to rescind motion from previous meeting and re-set hearing 'to allow time
<br />for the 90 days notice.
<br />Motion by Landis, seconded by Frauen to rescind previous action of set-
<br />ting public hearing for July 5th. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis,
<br />Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Leslie to set Public Hearing for August 2, 1994
<br />10:00 a.m. to review industrial tracts. Abernethy, Frauen Hartman, Landis,
<br />Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Hostler reported on the landfill committee meeting with City of Grand Island
<br />Mayor and City Public Works Director Wayne Bennett on the maintenance of
<br />Husker Highway. He presented copy of letter to Chairman Hartman, which he
<br />had sent to the City.
<br />
<br />Final Plat for Dibbern Subdivision located on the east side of Nebraska High-
<br />way 11, approximately 600 feet north of Stolley Park Road was presented for
<br />consideration.
<br />Letter from Regional Planning Director was read stating the Planning
<br />Commission recommended the board approve the final plat as submitted.
<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Quandt to approve and authorize chairman
<br />to sign the final plat for Dibbern Subdivision. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman,
<br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Final Plat for Rainforth Subdivision located on the west side of AIda Road,
<br />approximately 1/2 mile north of Rosedale Road was presented for consideration.
<br />Letter from Regional Planning Director was read stating the Planning
<br />Commission recommended the board approve the final plat.
<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Abernethy to approve and authorize chair-
<br />man to sign the final plat for Rainforth Subdivision. Abernethy, Frauen,
<br />Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion
<br />carried.

<br />Recessed for Board of Equalization at 9:28 a.m. and returned to regular
<br />session at 9:56 a.m.
<br />
<br />Motion by Abernethy, seconded by Leslie to adopt Resolution #1558 as pre-
<br />sented. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted
<br />yes, none voted no. Motion carried.
