<br />/ <br />I <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />9~~Rt) <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />_-f./" <br /> <br />.~ <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING, MARCH 15, 1994 <br /> <br />>! <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 a.m. from adjourned <br />session and by published call with Chairman Richard Hartman presiding. <br /> <br />Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Frauen, Richard <br />Hartman, Margaret Landis, Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt and Tammie Stelk. <br />None were absent. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Rev. Kay Moyer, Trinity United Methodist. <br /> <br />Pledge of Allegiance was given. <br /> <br />Minutes of March 8th were accepted as received, on motion by Frauen, <br />seconded by Stelk. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt <br />and Stalk voted yes, none voted no. <br /> <br />Motion made by Frauen, seconded by Quandt to enter executive session to <br />discuss FOP negotiations with Deputy County Attorney Mark Young, Sheriff <br />Emmett Arnett and Deputy Sheriff Jan Steeple. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, <br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelkvoted yes, none voted no. <br /> <br />Entered executive session at 9:04 a.m. and returned to regular session <br />at 9:42 a.m. with motion by 9uandt, seconded by Frauen. Abernethy, <br />Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie~ Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none <br />voted no. <br /> <br />Resolution #1551 requesting the vacating portions of Prairie Road, <br />Monitor Road and Chapman Roads was presented. Landis made motion, <br />seconded by Frauen accept and adopt this resolution. Abernethy, <br />Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and St~lk voted yes, none <br />voted no. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # /r:J~7 <br />.. , <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION VACATING PORTIONS OF CERTAIN COUNTY ROADS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Supervisors was requested by <br />various persons to consider the abandonment or vacation of various <br />portions of cOl!nty roads within Hall County, Nebraska, to-wit: <br /> <br />PRAIRIE ROAD: Beginning at the Southeast (SE) Corner of the <br />Southwest Quarter (SW1/4) of Section Three (3), Township <br />Twelve (12) North, Range Ten (10) West of the 6th P.M.; <br />thence west to the Southwest (SW) Corner of the Southwest <br />Quarter (SW1/4) of said Section Three (3), said right-of-way <br />line being Thirty-Three Feet (33') each side of said section <br />line; <br /> <br />MONITOR ROAD: Beginning at the Northwest (NW) Corner of <br />the Southwest Quarter (SW1/4) of Section Three (3), Township <br />Twelve (12) North, Range Ten (10) West of the 6th P.M.; <br />thence southerly two and one-half (2 1/2) miles to a point <br />Forty-Five Feet (45') north of the Southwest (SW) Corner of <br />Section Fifteen (15), Township Twelve (12) North, Range Ten <br />(10) West of the 6th P.M., said right-of-way being Thirty-Three <br />Feet (33') each side of said section line; <br /> <br />CHAPMAN ROAD: Beginning at the Southeast (SE) Corner of <br />the Southwest Quarter (SW1/4) of Section Ten (10), Township <br />Twelve (12) North, Range Ten (10) West of the 6th P.M.; <br />thence west two and one-half miles to the Southwest (SW) <br />Corner of Section Eight (8), Township Twelve (12) North, <br />Range Ten (10) West of the 6th P.M., said right-of-way being <br />Thirty-Three Feet (33') each side of said section line; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to such request and by resolution of the Hall County <br />Board of Supervisors the Hall County Public Works Director was directed to <br />make a study of the uses made of said roads and submit his findings in <br />writing the Hall County Board of Supervisors; and <br />
