<br />County Assessor Jan Pelland returned to meeting to finish the discussion on
<br />reappraisal delay until 1995 tax year, set January 1995 for informal hearings
<br />and notices be sent out by April 1, 1995. With County Board members approval
<br />she will prepare letter of modification for reappraisal to be sent to State
<br />Department of Revenue, for next week's meeting.

<br />The Real Estate and Personal Property affidavits of continued exemptions and
<br />the motor vehicle application of exemptions were delayed until next week's
<br />meeting since they had not-been: scheduled under Board of Equalization meeting.
<br />
<br />Supervisor Abernethy gave report on Juvenile Detention Facility. Denise
<br />Miller from Scottsbluff Nebraska will be here March 24th at 1:30 p.m. in
<br />County Board Room to show a Video tape on the Scottsbluff Detention Center.

<br />County Clerk presented two claims for Frances Belmudez for interpreter fees
<br />which were omitted from total in January claims and requested consideration
<br />of payment today.

<br />Be lmundez, interpreter fees $291.66 as presented. Abernethy, Frauen,
<br />Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion

<br />Ellen Merrill, County Board Assistant gave weekly update report. Had obtained
<br />three proposals for board members chairs which were on display today.
<br />Motion by Landis, seconded by Leslie to purchase 8 chairs from Sam's
<br />for Board room. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie and Stelk voted
<br />yes, Quandt voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Merrill reported she will be attending the NIRMA Insurance workshop in Kearney
<br />on Wednesday with Supervisor Leslie and six members had registered to attend
<br />County Board Workshop in Kearney on Thursday and Friday.

<br />Frauen stated would have Parks Committee meeting today at 1:15 p.m. Will
<br />discussion holding Public Hearing to reopen county budget so will be able
<br />to spend FEMA grant funds.

<br />Abernethy has reports on Head Start meeting and Safety Belt meeting but will
<br />place on agenda for next week's meeting to give full report.
<br />
<br />Landis reported will hold Criminal Justice Committee meeting today at 1:30
<br />p.m. and ReUse Committee meeting to be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m.
<br />
<br />Leslie reported he will be attending the Mid Plains Center board meeting
<br />on Monday at 7;00 p.m. as member-of audience.
