<br />Senior Citizens Industreis in regard to application for Public Transporta-
<br />tion Assistance July 1, 1994 through June 30, 1995.

<br />of the Hall County Housing Authority's final Public Housing Management
<br />Assessment Program score and status. Housing Authority is designated as
<br />a high performer, and commended for its outstanding effords on behalf of
<br />low income families.

<br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Stelk to place on file the communications
<br />received today. Abernethy, Frauen,'Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quand and
<br />Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Ellen Merrill, County Board Assistant report: (1) estimated costs of joint
<br />City~County flyer. to be mailed with City Utility bills $800.00, County share
<br />$400.00
<br />Discussion followed. Motion by Abernethy, seconded by Stelk to spend the
<br />minimum amount towards sending City-County information with the City utility
<br />bills. Abernethy and Stelk voted yes, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, _Leslie and
<br />Quandt voted no. Motion failed on 5 no, 2 yes vote.

<br />Board Assistant presented letter to be sent to Senators opposing LB922,
<br />Veterans Service Officer salary. Discussion followed.
<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Landis to fax letter to NACO today and
<br />mail to Senators. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and
<br />Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Discussion on new chairs for board members for meeting room.
<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Stelk to authorize Board Assistant to
<br />reqeust proposals' for new chairs for board room. Abernethy, Frauen,' Hartman,
<br />Landis, Leslie and Stelk voted yes, Quandt voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Board Assistant reminded board members about Bookmobile Committee meeting,
<br />Building & Grounds Committee to work on placement of pictures in County Board
<br />room, and Crimina+.. Justicla Committee needs to meet on the secu:ri ty report.

<br />COMMITTEE REPORTS:
<br />
<br />Chairman Hartman stated the list-of 1994 committee members had been passed out.
<br />Needed any input from board members if wished to make changes.
<br />
<br />Landis stated changes on Local Emergency Committee, Landis. as member and
<br />Ellen Merrill as alternate.
<br />
<br />Stelk, Quandt and Frauen stated committee members is OK with them.
<br />
<br />Leslie reported on Stuhr. Museum Board meeting he attended, also the Mid Plains
<br />Center meeting he attended last night. Committee member list is OK, however
<br />he would like to be taken off the Mid Plains Center Committee. Chairman Hart-
<br />man will be County Board representative at the Mid Plains Center meetings.
<br />
<br />Quandt reported he attended Senior Citizens Meeting last Wednesday evening.
<br />
<br />Abernethy reported on two Family Violance Coalition meetings she attended.
<br />She als,o had attended College Park meeting, Industrial Tour to Hastings,
<br />and Head Start Parents Board meeting. Abernethy commented on Committee
<br />appointments.
