<br />9f1F- ~o6 <br /> <br />t <br /> <br />.'l,;. <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING, JANUARY 11, 1994 <br /> <br />\ <br />, <br /> <br />The Hall ~ounty Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 a.m. from adjourned session <br />and by published call with Chairman Gary Quandt presiding. <br /> <br />Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Frauen, Richard Hartman, <br />Margaret Landis, Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt and Tammie Stelk. None were absent. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Abernethy. <br /> <br />Pledge of Allegiance was given. <br /> <br />Minutes of January 4th meeting were accepted as received on motion by <br />Stelk, seconded by Frauen. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, <br />Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />County Attorney Ellen Totzke and County Sheriff EmmettArnett were present <br />in regard to County Board setting salaries for Deputies. Register of Deeds <br />Jean Fisher read statement from elected officials in regard to the board <br />setting salaries of office deputies, requesting reconsideration of lid on <br />deputies salaries for 4 year term of office. <br />County Attorney and County Sheriff related the effect would have on the <br />deputies in their offices. Supervisor Landis stated the intent was for <br />Chief deputies not all deputies in Sheriff and Attorney's office. <br />Following lengthly discussion, Motion by Abernethy, seconded by Stelk, the <br />motion from lastweek'~ meeting be rescinded on deputies salaries. <br />Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Deputy Attorney Janulewicz spoke in regard to offer from Larry & Martha <br />Hickman to purchase Lot 1 Homestead 2nd Subdivision from the county for <br />$4000.00 and Janulewicz recommended approving purchase agreement and <br />adopting the resolution he had prepared. <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Stelk to approve sale and offer for <br />Lot 1 Homestead 2nd Subdivision recommended. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, <br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Janulewciz recommended authorizing sale of Lot 7 Homestead 2nd Subdivision <br />and adopting ~esolution as prepared. <br /> <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Stelk to adopt Resolution #1531, auth- <br />orizing sale of Lot 7 Homestead 2nd Subdivision. Abernethy, Frauen, <br />Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # /S.g/ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF LOT SEVEN (7) HOMESTEAD <br />SECOND SUBDIVISION, HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of Hall, Nebraska, is the record title <br />owner of the above described real property having acquired the <br />same through tax foreclosure proceedings; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Neb.Rev.Stat. sec. 77-1936,property <br />acquired under tax foreclosure proceedings may be sold by the <br />governmental body which acquired the property by deed signed by <br />the chairman for such price as the governing body of the <br />governmental subdivision, in the exercise of good faith, finds to <br />be a reasonable price for the property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County Board of Hall County, Nebraska, desires <br />to sell the above-described real property at a reasonable price; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of November, 1993, the County Board <br />of Hall County, Nebraska, received and accepted an offer by James <br />P. Kramer and Lynette C. Kramer, husband and wife for the <br />. ' <br />purchase of the above descr~bed real property for the sum of FOUR <br />THOUSAND DOLLARS ($4,000.00). <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the sale of the above- <br />described real property for the sum of FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS <br />($4,000.00) is hereby determined to be a reasonable price for <br />said property and the sale of the same is hereby approved. The <br />Chairman of the Board of Supervisors and the County Clerk are <br />h~reby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the County <br />of Hall, Nebraska, a deed and any documents necessary to convey <br />the same to the above-named parties. <br />
