<br />Motion by Stelk, seconded by Quandt to set Board of Corrections meeting for
<br />Monday, December 18, 1995 at 7:00 P.M. Discussion followed.
<br />Motion by Stelk, seconded by Rosenkotter to amend the motion to hold Board
<br />of Corrections meeting December 18th-at 4:00 P.M. instead of December 19th,
<br />at 10:30 A.M. and meeting to be audio taped but not video taped. Abernethy,
<br />Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk voted yes, none voted
<br />no. Motion Approved.

<br />Hall County Sheriff Department report for fees, mileage and miscellaneous
<br />. earned for months of July, August and September had been reviewed. .
<br />Motion by Stelk, seconded by Quandt to accept and place on file the County
<br />Sheriff's report. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter
<br />and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion Approved.

<br />in packet of information each Board Member received. Abernethy, Hartman,

<br />Ellen Merrill, County Board Assistant gave weekly progress report.
<br />(1) presented letters to be signed to State Auditor, Troy Mason, and Depart-
<br />ment of Motor Vehicles (2) questioned the certificates for former County
<br />Board Members for next week's meeting. (3) Changes per diem for Weed Board
<br />Members must be changed by January 15, 1996 (4) If any board members wish to
<br />attend CPR classes. (5) Policy on employees reimbursement for meals etc.
<br />(6) Conditional Use Permit Committee needs to meet (7) Video tape of County
<br />Board meetings will be on GITV Wednesday nights at 6:00 p.m.

<br />COUNTY BOARD MEMBER REPORTS:

<br />Landis: Central Nebraska Community Services meeting report, have applied for
<br />grant for a couple low income housing in Grand Island, need two lots.
<br />Hall County owns lot at 500 E 9th, Board Members to look at lot and
<br />location to decide if should donate to CNCS.
<br />
<br />Leslie: None
<br />
<br />Hartman: None
<br />
<br />Rosenkotter: Headstart Policy Meeting, ~eteran~'Service Committee Meeting
<br />and Midland Area Agency on Aging meeting.
<br />
<br />Quandt: Attended Grievance Committee meeting and also meeting with Landis
<br />and Abernethy with painter at Courthouse in regard to dome painting.
<br />
<br />Abernethy: Headstart meeting; attended Property Tax Meeting in Hastings;
<br />Triad Group(Senior Citizens meeting with Law Enforcement); City
<br />Council meeting last night.
<br />
<br />Stelk: Attended Midland Area Agency on Aging meeting and Library Board
<br />meeting.
<br />
<br />County Clerk gave information received that Larry Dix, NACO AS/400 director's
<br />father had died and funeral information.

<br />Landis reported the Consultant had called in regard to Reuse Committe?
<br />
<br />Motion by Stelk, seconded ~y Landis that the Board of Corrections meeting
<br />November 28th, audio and video tapes not be destroyed in six
<br />months as policy calls for. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie,
<br />Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion
<br />Approved.
<br />
<br />Stelk shared copy of letter she had in regard to Normandy Apartments increase
<br />in rent due to raise in real estate taxes. Discussion followed.

<br />Chairman Abernethy adjourned the meeting at 12:30 P.M.
