<br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING JUNE 27, 1995

<br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met June 27, 1995, at 9:00 A.M.
<br />from adjourned session and by published call with Chairman Irene
<br />Abernethy presiding.
<br />
<br />Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Hartman, Margaret
<br />Landis, Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt, Judy Rosenkotter and Tammie Stelk.
<br />
<br />Invocation was given by Irene Abernethy.
<br />
<br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given.
<br />
<br />The minutes of the June 20 meeting were received and corrected.
<br />Quandt made a motion and Hartman seconded to accept the minutes and
<br />place on file. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt,
<br />Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no.
<br />
<br />9:15 A.M. Stelk made a mot~on and Rosenkotter seconded to go into

<br />executive session for CWAi_i Abernethy, Hartman, Landis,
<br />Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and steIk all voted yes and none voted no.
<br />
<br />9:40 A.M. Hartman made a motion and Leslie seconded to return to
<br />regular session. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt,
<br />Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no.
<br />
<br />Quandt discussed the personel committee meeting that was held June
<br />26. He stated that he felt the private practice of a deputy county
<br />attorney or a deputy public defender should be conducted outside of
<br />the county offices. This policy should be stated in ~he county
<br />handbook. Abernethy presented additional in:formatio!Lnto__'t:he boC!rd
<br />members. A letter was sent to the NebraskaAccountability~n~
<br />Disclosure Commission requesting an opinion on special compensation
<br />to attorneys This will be discuss~d again on July 11.
<br />
<br />July 6 a meeting on the I-80 Interchange will be held. A sample
<br />draft of the environmental impact study was received by members of
<br />the committee. There is an interlocal agreement with the city,
<br />county and state. The environmental impact study needs to be
<br />completed.

<br />Chairman Abernethy appointed a committee consisting of Richard
<br />Hartman, Margaret Landis, Robert Leslie and Irene Abernethy
<br />to review the new managed care and how it will effect Mid Plains.
<br />
<br />10:10 A.M. Commence audit of claims.
<br />
<br />12:00 P.M. Recessed.
<br />
<br />1:30 P.M. Returned to regular session.
<br />
<br />Hartman was absent.
<br />
<br />Guandt made a motion and Landis seconded to deny claim number 95060030
<br />to Chern-Dry in the amount of $141.00. Abernethy, Landis, Leslie,
<br />Quandt and Rosenkotter all voted yes. Stelk abstained and Hartman was
<br />absent.
<br />
<br />Landis made a motion and Quandt seconded to lower claim number 95060229
<br />to Mid Plains and not pay the billings that were over 90 days old.
<br />Abernethy, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes
<br />and none voted no.
<br />
<br />Landis made a motion and Quandt seconded to return claim number 95060381
<br />to Daniel Hostler for clarification. Abernethy, Landis, Leslie,
<br />Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no.
<br />
<br />Leslie made a motion and Rosenkotter seconded to approve all other
<br />claims and authorize the ~cl~rk to pay. Abernethy, Landis, Leslie,
<br />Quandt, Rosenkotter and:Stel~;all voted yes and none voted no.
<br />
<br />John Amick presented a notice of intent to vacate lots #13 and #14
<br />of the Amick Acres, Third Subdivision. He stated that this was for
<br />agricultural purposes only. Quandt made a motion and Stelk seconded
<br />to refer this to the county attorney and place on the agenda on
<br />July 11. Abernethy, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk
<br />all voted yes and none voted no.
