<br />9S'P -If~ <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING MAY 30, 1995 <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met May 30, 1995, at 9:00 A.M. <br />from adjourned session and by published call with Chairman Irene <br />Abernethy presiding. <br /> <br />Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Hartman, Margaret <br />Landis, Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt and Tammie Stelk. Judy Rosenkotter <br />was absent. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Re~ H. B. Schutte from Grace Lutheran Church. <br /> <br />Minutes of the May 23 meeting were received. Quandt made motion and <br />Leslie seconded to accept the minutes and place on file, Abernethy, <br />Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none <br />voted no. <br /> <br />Public Participation - Theodore Rudnick, 654 South Shady Bend Road, <br />spoke to the board on the flooding of the wood River. His property <br />was flooded last year and he is having the same problems. Quandt <br />made a motion and Landis seconded to refer this matter to Dan Hostler <br />and the Public Works Committee to see if this problem can be solved. <br />Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes <br />and none voted no. It was also suggested that Mr. Rudnick talk to <br />Wayne Bennett with the City concerning some adjacent property. <br /> <br />Gary Streeks with Blue Cross Blue Shield presented the board with <br />packets showing the changes on benefits and the rate increases. <br />The increase was 7.78% by using the NACO< Trust funds. The stop <br />loss for co-insurance was increased to $1,500.00 for single <br />coverage and $3,000.00 for family coverage and the RX Nebraska <br />prescription card will increase to $8.00. Gary Streeks stated <br />employee meetings will need to be set up to go over the various <br />benefit changes. <br /> <br />Nelson Helm presented the Regional Planning Commissions quarterly <br />report. The Planning Commission received 6 zoning request and <br />all were approved except 1. Seventeen sub-divisions were established. <br />Two members attended the Nebraska Planning and Zoning meeting. The <br />village of Cairo is updating their comprehensive plan. The various <br />other items were listed that they had worked on. <br /> <br />Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz presented the contract <br />for the Senior Citizens Industries operation of the Handi-Bus. <br />The necessary changes were made and the draft was accepted by <br />Senior Citizens and Hall County. The Transportation 'Committee <br />stated the contract was acceptable. Landis made a motion and Stelk <br />seconded to accept the agreement and authorize the Chairman to sign. <br />Abernethy,Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and <br />none voted no. Rosenkotter absent. <br /> <br />Resolution #1659 to Vacate Woodman Acres Subdivison was presented <br />to the board. Landis made a motion and Leslie seconded to accept <br />Resolution #1659 and sign. Abernethy, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and <br />Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Raye Woodman and Carolyn Woodman, husband and <br />wife, have applied to the County Board of. Superv isors of Hall <br />County, Nebraska, for vacating Woodman Acres Subdivision and <br />attaching the tract to the East Half of the Southeast Quarter (E <br />1/2 SE 1/4) of Section Thirty-two (32), Township Nine (9) North, <br />Range Twelve (12) West of the 6th P.M. in Hall County, Nebraska; <br />
