<br />Cj(;)-_ :<(0 j <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Long - <br /> <br />Attended the Park Committee meeting but stated he was unable to <br />attend the Public Works Committee meeting. <br /> <br />Abernethy - None, she had just returned yesterday from attending the <br />Olympics in Atlanta. <br /> <br />Leslie - None <br /> <br />Stelk - None <br /> <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Quandt requested the City 2 mile jurisdiction be discussed. He requested the <br />Conditional Use Permit Committee research. Supervisor Hartman agreed and <br />thought should be changed to 1 mile instead of 2 miles. Supervisor Landis <br />also supported the change. <br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Landis to have the Conditional Use Committee <br />research with City, County Building Inspector, Attorneys, the City Code Enfor- <br />cement officer and the Planning Commission for recommendation. Abernethy, <br />Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Long, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />supervisor Landis, Chair of the Conditional Use Committee will have Board <br />Assistant check with Attorney Janulewicz first and then will set up meeting. <br /> <br />Supervisor Hartman questioned the Sheriff Deputies helping Merrick County but <br />how about the Hall County residents near Doniphan and Cairo in the far out <br />areas of Hall County. <br /> <br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Abernethy to have Deputy Attorney Janulewicz <br />to go with Chair Stelk to attend the meeting for Health Department for an <br />emergency meeting tomorrow night. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Long, <br />Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Supervisor Leslie stated he will not respond to the accusation made last week <br />by Quandt but since he mentioned two women were involved, he requested two <br />women be invited to make statements if they wished. No names were given and <br />Leslie dropped the discussion. Quandt agreed to drop the discussion also. <br /> <br />Stelk spoke in regard to the resignation of Ray Rabe, Director of Grand Island <br />Hall County Health Department. Stated this was reason for emgergency meeting <br />tomorrow night. She expressed her appreciation for his services since he <br />began serving as Director. <br />Quandt stated Ray Rabe had been an asset to Hall County, he tried to make <br />changes in the department, and wished him the Best of Luck in his new position. <br /> <br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Hartman to send letter of support for Ray Rabe <br />to where ever he goes. Discussion followed and motion was withdrawn. <br /> <br />Hartman added his statments to previous ones and offered his best wishes to <br />Ray Rabe in his new position in North Carolina. <br /> <br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Hartman to accept Ray Rabe letter of resignation <br />as Health Director with regrets and send letter of recommendation for him. <br />Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Long, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none <br />voted no.
