Motion carried. <br />Board Assistant gave each member copy of information obtained at the <br />request of Chair Stelk in regard to cost of living salary increases being <br />given in nine counties contacted. <br /> <br />COUNTY BOARD MEMBER REPORTS: <br /> <br />Quandt - attended Weed Board meeting last night, passed resolution given <br />authority to Weed Superintendent. (Clerk to make copy of resolution <br />for each County Board member) <br /> <br />Landis - no report <br /> <br />Hartman - reported the Mid Plains Center nonfinancial audit has been completed. <br /> <br />Rosenkotter - Attended Local Emergency Planning meeting, attended Parliamentary <br />meeting last Saturday, their next meeting will be Saturday June 8 <br />at 1:00 p.m. at City Library. She encouraged Board members to <br />attend. A Partners for Healthy Communities meeting will be held <br />May 17th at College Park 8;30 a.m. til 4:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Abernethy - Attended meeting at Stuhr Museum, Attended Dare Graduations at <br />two schools, and Attended meeting of College Park Board who met <br />with the new University of Nebraska Chancellor. <br /> <br />Leslie - Went on Courthouse tour with Architect and contractor and felt County <br />Board members should make tour before accepting final inspection. <br /> <br />Stelk - Attended Senior Citizens Industries Meeting, she asked if County Board <br />would support her if she requested joint funding for the Handibus for <br />County and City of Grand Island. <br />
