HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING JULY 30, 2013 <br /> The Hall County Board of Supervisors convened July 30, 2013 by published call in the County <br /> Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. <br /> CALL TO ORDER - The meeting was called to order by Chairman Pamela Lancaster. <br /> INVOCATION - Invocation was given by ScottArnold. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE—The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> ROLL CALL - Present on roll call were, Scott Amold, Pamela Lancaster, Bob McFarland, Dan ' <br /> Purdy, Gary Quandt, Steve Schuppan and David Ziola. Also present was Deputy County � <br /> Attomey Jack Zitterkopf and Board Assistance Stacey Ruzicka. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW—Chairman Pamela Lancaster read the notice of open <br /> meeting law. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME— Chairman Lancaster stated that if anyone from the audience <br /> has a request to reserve time to speak on a specific agenda item, to please come forward at this <br /> time. No one responded. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA— Purdy made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the following by <br /> consent agenda: <br /> 1. Place on file the minutes from July 16, 2013 with a correction to 4b to change the dollar <br /> amount to $5000.00 <br /> 2. 5a Placed on file the Hall County Highway Department annual report <br /> 3. 5b Placed on file the report from Hall County Highway Department for the sale of surplus <br /> property <br /> 4. 6a Placed on file the Hall County Treasurer's Semi Annual report <br /> 5. 6b Placed on file the Hall County Treasurer's report of 2011, 2010 & prior delinquent <br /> personal property taxes and 2012 accelerated taxes 2011 and prior delinquent real <br /> property taxes <br /> 6. 8 Placed on file the Hall County Keno Financial report for quarter ending March 13, 2013 <br /> 7. 9 Approved the amusement license for Grand Island Saddle Club <br /> 8. 10 Set the bid opening for pharmaceutical services for September 10, 2013 at 10:15 <br /> a.m. bids due September 9, 20:30 at 5:00 P.M. <br /> 9. 11 Authorized the Chair to sign the 2014 application for public transportation operating <br /> assistance with the Nebraska Department of Roads <br /> 10. 12a Approved the early claim for Convention Visitors Bureau for lodging tax <br /> 11. 12b Approved the early claim for GI Utilities in the amount of$2,475.95 <br /> 12. 14 Placed on file the Hall County Treasurer's Miscellaneous Receipts <br /> 13. 15 Placed on file communications <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted <br /> no.
