C CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF A RESOLUTION TO REPEAL RESOLUTION #12- <br /> ) <br /> 053 RELATING TO THE CREATION OF A SEPARATE OFFICE OF JURY COMMISSIONER - <br /> Deputy County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf stated that this resolution was approved last year and <br /> the statute at that time provided for a separate office for a jury commissioner and provided for <br /> additional compensation of$1,200.00. A bill was introduced and approved by the legislature <br /> changing it to a population of 75,000 instead of 50,000 to require a separate jury commissioner. <br /> This resolution repeals Resolution #12-053 that created the separate office. The new resolution <br /> will be effective September 6, 2013. <br /> Arnold made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve Resolution#13-050 to repeal <br /> Resolution #12-053 regarding the jury commissioner effective September 6, 2013. <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none <br /> voted no.
