RESOLUTION # 1�j�0�� <br /> SETTING AND ESTABLISHING A MAXiMUM LAWFUL SPEED OF <br /> 35 MILES PER HOUR FOR VEHICULAR TRAFFIC ON <br /> SCHULTZ ROAD FROM 130 ROAD OLD NE HWY 11 <br /> WEST TO THE WOOD RIVER CITY LIMITS <br /> WHEREAS, Hall County conducted a traffic engineering speed zane study on 130`h Raad <br /> (Old NE Hwy 11) east of Wood River with the study considering speeds for other roads in the <br /> area such as Schultz Road west of 134t" Road(Old NE Hwy 11), where the current speed limit is <br /> 55 miles per hour up the Wood River City lirnits and 35 miles per hour within the Wood River <br /> City Limits; and <br /> WHEREAS, a traffic engineering speed zone study was conducted by the Hall County <br /> En�;ineer and> as a result af said survey, a maximum lawful speed of 35 miles per hour is <br /> recommended for vehicular traffic upan Schultz Road fram 130`h Raad (Old NE Hwy 11) west <br /> for approximately '/4 mile to the Wood River City limits; and <br /> THEREFORE, it is hereby determined and ordered that the maximum lawful speed upan <br /> Schultz Road from 130�'Road(Old NE Hwy 11) west for approximately `/ mile to the Wood <br /> River City limits, all within Hall County, Nebraska, shall be set and established at 35 miles per <br /> hour, and that in accordance herewith,personnel of the Hall Caunty Public Works Department, <br /> Hall Caunty, Nebraska, are directed to post appropriate speed limit signs to this effect forthwith. <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 215Y DAY OF MAY, 2013. <br /> Resalution moved by Supervisor � <br /> Seconded by Supervisor <br /> Vote: <br /> Scott Arnold For�; Against�; Abstained�; Not Present� <br />
