<br />COUNTY ATTORNEY: Deputy Attorney Jerom Janulewicz was present.
<br />Janulewicz presented written letter in regard to payment of personal property
<br />tax refunds for 1989-1990. Recommendation to not make refunds at present
<br />time and wait for final litigation to be resolved.
<br />Janulewicz presented proposed resolution to approve Weight Restriction
<br />Surcharge at the Grand Island Area Solid Waste Agency Landfill. Discussion
<br />on $25.00 fine not enough and needed to be stronger fee.
<br />Motion by Rosenkotter to adopt resolution as proposed. Motion died for
<br />lack of second.
<br />Attorney Janulewicz and Public Works Committee to meet and try to work
<br />out solution.

<br />Motion by Rosenkotter, seconded by Abernethy to recess for Executive Session
<br />to meet with Deputy Attorney Janulewicz and County Sheriff Fosket concerning
<br />Deputy Morgan. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and
<br />Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.
<br />EXECUTIVE SESSION: at 9:25 A.M. and returned to regular session at 9:45 a.m.
<br />on motion by Hartman, seconded by Leslie, Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie,
<br />Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE REPORT: The Hall County Public Works Committee
<br />recommends that the Hall County Board of Supervisors accept bid for the
<br />annual culvert bids at 10:00 a.m.,Tuesday, April 30, 1996.
<br />Motion by Leslie, seconded by Rosenkotter to approve the Public Works
<br />Committee recommendation and set April 30, 1996 at 10:00 a.m. to accept
<br />bids for annual culvert bids. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt,
<br />Rosenkotter, and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />supervisor Hartman stated the Public Works Committee suggests changing the
<br />landfill weight restrictions surcharge to remove the wording of second offense
<br />in 60 days and set that rate at $50.00 and next rate at $75.00
<br />
