Quandt, <br />Landis, Hartman, Stelk, Leslie, and Rosenkotter voted yes, none <br />voted no, and Abernethy abstained. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Abernethy returned to the meeting. <br /> <br />BOARD ASSISTANT'S REPORT: Merrill asked who plans to attend the <br />Central District County Officials meeting on March 21. <br />Rosenkotter, Abernethy, Leslie, and Stelk asked to be pre- <br />registered. Landis and Hartman said they plan to pay at the <br />door. Quandt said he would not attend. <br /> <br />BOARD MEMBER REPORTS: Rosenkotter said the Economic Development <br />Corporation's Long-Range Planning Committee meeting was cancelled <br />but she attended the Election Committee meeting regarding <br />locating the media for the primary election. Election <br />Commissioner Mary Kay Shay and Grand Island Independent reporter <br />Carol Bryant addressed the issue. Rosenkotter moved and <br />Abernethy seconded the motion to accept the Hall County Election <br />Commissioner's recommendations for election night placement of <br />the media and candidates. Quandt, Stelk, Leslie, Abernethy, and <br />Rosenkotter voted yes, Hartman voted no, and Landis abstained. <br />Motion carried. Rosenkotter said she also attended the Midland <br />Area Agency on Aging meeting, the Public Works Committee meeting, <br />and the Criminal Justice Committee meeting as a stand-in for <br />Stelk. She said she attended a parliamentarian workshop in <br />Kearney, and another is planned at 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the <br />Edith Abbott Memorial Library. <br /> <br />Abernethy said she attended a meeting regarding a staff-secure <br />facility for juveniles. <br /> <br />Leslie said he attended the Criminal Justice Committee meetings. <br /> <br />Quandt said he attended the Midland Area Agency on Aging meeting. <br /> <br />Landis said she attended the Public Works Committee meeting and <br />sat in on the Criminal Justice Committee meeting. <br /> <br />Hartman had no report. <br /> <br />Stelk had no report. <br /> <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS: None. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS: None. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 11:42 a.m. <br /> <br />(1~ ~.~ <br />~~~~~~ <br /> <br />"6 <br /> <br />
