q? ;:::, t:J j7 3J

DATED this

.~

day of ~

. 19 q?

. ,..

~~
CO CLERK-

.ELECTRICAL PROJECT IN THE COURTHOUSE: Buildings and Grounds
Superintendent Rick Stepanek reported on the shortage of power
which has resulted in the main circuit "popping" twice in one
day. Stepanek recommended the board look into bringing extra
power in to that building. Rosenkotter moved and Abernethy
seconded the motion to get an electrical engineer to confer with
Stepanek about installing a new electrical panel to handle
current and future demands in the Courthouse. The issue was
discussed.

Quandt moved and Hartman seconded a motion to call for the
question. Quandt, Landis, Hartman, Stelk, Leslie, Abernethy, and
Rosenkotter voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. On
the original motion, Rosenkotter and Abernethy voted yes, and
Quandt, Landis, Hartman, Stelk, and Leslie voted no. Motion
failed.

Rosenkotter stated for the record that she doesn't agree with the
Band-aid approach in this case since it involves a safety issue.

Quandt moved and Hartman seconded the motion to have Stepanek and
Hall County Building Inspector Max Boersen walk through the
building and get an idea of what it will cost to fix this problem
on the first floor and bring it into compliance. The issue was
discussed. Quandt, Landis, Hartman, and Stelk voted yes,
Abernethy voted no, and Leslie and Rosenkotter abstained. Motion
carried.

Abernethy took a telephone call.

HALL COUNTY TREASURER'S MISCELLANEOUS RECEIPTS: Quandt moved and
Rosenkotter seconded the motion to accept the miscellaneous
receipts and place them on file. Quandt, Landis, Hartman, Stelk,
Leslie, and Rosenkotter voted yes, none voted no, and Abernethy
abstained. Motion carried.

~
