<br />f f; F - () C:<!/- <br /> <br />GIS training is schedulted for the second week of February and <br />Ellen requested using the mail room to set up the terminals. <br />Quandt made a motion and Leslie seconded to move the contents out <br />of the room and use it for the GIS training. Abernety, Hartman, <br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />~, <br /> <br />The request from Ummel Sanitation was received January 16, <br />Now the carriers can select their own areas. Quandt made a motion <br />and Abernethy seconded to let the sanitation services out for bids. <br />Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes <br />and none voted no. Motion carried. Ellen is to check on a common <br />bid with the city of Grand Island. <br /> <br />Landis made a motion and Quandt seconded to send the information <br />received from Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz concerning <br />the townships to all the township officials. Abernethy, Hartman, <br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Stelk reported that the joint city-county meeting concerning the <br />interchange will be held at the Extension Office Meeting Room <br />February 6, at 7:00 P.M. An agenda will be prepared. The meeting <br />is scheduled for 2 hours the first hour for presentation of information <br />and the second hour for questions and public input. <br /> <br />Board Member's Reports - <br />Quandt - None <br /> <br />Landis - She attended the Audit Committee meeting, the Public Works <br />Committee meeting and the Foreign Trade Zone meeting. The Conditional <br />Use Committee will meet this week. <br /> <br />Hartman - He attended the Public Works Committee meeting, Corrections <br />meeting and the Mid-Plains meeting. Mid-Plains will need to be on <br />the agenda for January 30 for the quarterly report. He questioned <br />why the road tour could not be on GITV. <br /> <br />Abernethy - She attended the Head Start board meeting and a workshop <br />at College Park. She attended the Region III meeting and will report <br />on this on January 30. <br /> <br />Leslie - He attended the Audit Committee meeting. <br /> <br />Stelk - She met with Mayor Ken Gnadt and Dale Iman on the joint <br />city-county meeting. The Midland Area Agency on Aging will be held <br />Thursday. <br /> <br />Unfinished Business - <br /> <br />Discussion was held on the hours of the Clerk Magistrate's office. <br />Landis made a motion and Quandt seconded to send a letter to this <br />office and the judges concerning the office hours. Abernethy, <br />Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />New Business - <br /> <br />A certifica~of recognition will be sent to Izola Sargent for her <br />service to Hall County. <br /> <br />Landis requested that Abernethy check on a request from an individual <br />concerning the Family Violence Coalition board. <br /> <br />January 24 LB993 on the county and public defender's offices transfer <br />to state funding and LB 994 on the clerk of the district court being <br />appointed by the state will be up for hearing. Landis made a motion <br />and Hartman seconded to fax letters to our senators supporting these <br />bills. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk all <br />voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />adjourned at 12:25. <br /> <br />.42 2~~ ~ <br />\..' /J/l&.
