<br />9~~- tJ J3 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING JANUARY 16, 1996 <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met January 16, 1996, at 9:00 A.M. <br />from adjourned session and by published call in the County Board <br />Meeting Room, Administration Building, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Tammie Stelk. <br /> <br />The invocation was given by Rev. Vernon Werner, Calvary Baptist Church. <br /> <br />Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Hartman, Margaret <br />Landis, Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt, Judy Rosenkotter and Tammie Stelk. <br /> <br />The minutes of the January 9th meeting were corrected and accepted <br />as received. Rosenkotter made a motion and Abernethy seconded to <br />accept and place on file the January 9 minutes, the County Office <br />reports and communications. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, <br />Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />The following office reports were accepted. <br /> <br />Clerk of the District Court Linda Zimmerman <br /> <br />De~ember 1995 fees <br /> <br />$3,943.80 <br /> <br />Register of Deeds Jean Fisher <br /> <br />Documentary Stamp Tax Fee <br />Recording Fees <br />Photo Fees <br />Total Fees for December 1995 <br /> <br />$6,869.06 <br />10,131.00 <br />735.00 <br />$17,917.06 <br /> <br />Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz presented a letter to the <br />Board members regarding Project STPB 40(42) for the Historical Markers, <br />stating that he approved the agreement and presented a resolution <br />to be signed. He stated that John Amick with the Historical Society <br />would be there later. <br /> <br />Max Boersen, County Building Inspecto~ had contacted Jerry Janulewicz <br />on the resolution and Conditional Use Permit for Muckel's Aerial. <br />The public hearing was held January 12. This will be placed on the <br />agenda for January 23 to be signed. <br /> <br />The questions raised on the townships'duties and responsibilities <br />at the December 12 township meeting had been sent over to Janulewicz. <br />He stated that he had done the research but had not formulated it. <br />The board requested a letter with his findings. <br /> <br />Janulewicz stated that he would research the Kuester's Lake hunting <br />problem at the law library next week. <br /> <br />Trudy Tru, with the CASA program, requested using an unoccupied room <br />in the Family Violence Coalition office. Ms.Treu stated that CASA is <br />serving 18 children and they have 8 volunteers who have donated 180 <br />hours. Rosenkotter made a motion and Abernethy seconded to approve <br />CASA to use the room in the Family Violence Coalition Office. <br />It was stated that this is a county building and it should be used <br />by county offices. CASA was not funded by the county but these 2 <br />offices would complement each other. Discussion was held. Abernethy, <br />Leslie, Rosenkotter and Stelk voted yes and Hartman, Landis and <br />Quandt voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />An agreement would need to be signed by CASA for this office spaCe. <br />Rosenkotter made a motion and Abernethy seconded to draw up an <br />agreement with CASA and Family Violence Coalition to share this <br />office space. This will be on the agenda for January 23. Abernethy, <br />Leslie, Rosenkotter and Stelk voted yes. Hartman and Quandt voted no <br />and Landis abstained. <br />
