13. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF PAM SUNDERMEIER OF VERIZON — RECIPIENT OF'THE <br /> PATRIDT AWARD— Lancaster stated Verizon is a provider for Hall County and we value <br /> veterans and Verizan actively seeks out and hires veterans as their team players. John Goode <br /> a manager for Verizon was present and Mike Swanson with Convention Visitors Bureau was <br /> also present. Pam Sundermeier received the Patriot Award. Jahn stated that Ms. Sundermeir <br /> appreciat�d the recognition. . <br /> 9:10 A.M. Held a Board of Equalization meeting. <br /> 9:14 a.m. Adjourned the Board of Equalization meeting and returned to the regular meeting. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION — Chairman Lancaster called for public participation and no one <br /> responded. <br /> 4. C�UNTY ATTORNEY—Consid�ration of and action on a resalution authorizing the Board <br /> Chairman to execute three County Quitclaim deeds as called for in the Board's Settlement <br /> Agreement with the Ellises and Little E Eagle, Inc. — Deputy County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf <br /> stated that this is the resolution authorizing the quitclaim deeds to be recorded with the Register <br /> of Deeds according to the settl�ment agreement. <br /> Schuppan made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve Resolution #13-018 <br /> authorizing the Board Chair to ex�cute the quitclaim deeds. Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, <br /> Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Arnold was absent. Mation <br /> carried. <br /> Mr. Zitterkopf stated that he has the signed documents to dismiss the litigation. The Ellises will <br /> meet with their attorney to sign the easements so this should be campleted by the end of the <br /> week. Mr. 5chuppan is working with Mr. Kroeger to get those papers signed. <br /> 2 <br />
