<br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING JULY 22, 1997

<br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met from adjourned session
<br />and by published call July 22, 1997, at 9:00 a.m. in the County
<br />Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island.
<br />
<br />CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order by Chairman Huey
<br />Long.
<br />
<br />INVOCATION: Invocation was given by Rev. H. B. Schutte with Grace
<br />Lutheran Church.
<br />
<br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: The Pledge of Allegiance was given in
<br />union.
<br />
<br />ROLL CALL: Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard
<br />Hartman, Pamela Lancaster, Margaret Landis, Huey Long, Gary
<br />Quandt and Tammie Stelk.
<br />
<br />PRESENT: Also present were news media representatives from KRGI
<br />and the Grand Island Independent, Jerry Janulewicz, Deputy County
<br />Attorney and Daniel Hostler, road superintendent.

<br />
<br />MINUTES OF THE JULY 15 MEETING: A correction was made to the
<br />minutes. Stelk made a motion and Abernethy seconded to accept
<br />the minutes as received and by consent agenda to place on file
<br />the office reports, County T~easurer's Miscellaneous Receipts,
<br />communications and to authorize the Agricultural Institute of
<br />Nebraska to put signs along county roads and to use the water
<br />truck. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and
<br />Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried.
