<br />91; /lY <br /> <br />TAX CORRECTION NOTICES: Joann Tagge, Deputy County Assessor, presented tax <br />correction notice #1606 to #1633. Stelk made a motion and Hartman seconded to authorized the <br />Chair to initial tax correction notices #1606 to #1633. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, <br />Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COUNTY BOARD. SECRETARY REPORT: Lisa Hagen included her progress report in the <br />board member's packets. <br /> <br />COUNTY BOARD MEMBER REPORTS: <br /> <br />Stelk - She attended a Health Board Executive Committee meeting on Thursday. Mr. Bruce <br />Dart, the new director was in an accident and will no be in Grand Island until June 30. Margaret <br />Etheridge will be leaving June 9, so Mary Henn will be the acting director until June 30. She also <br />viewed the tape on the interviews. <br /> <br />Landis - She attended a meeting Wednesday with Senior Citizens to set up rules and regulations <br />for using cab tickets. She requested a work-study session on June 3 , at 8:30 a.m. to set this up. <br />She also attended the interviews for the sheriff on Friday. <br /> <br />Lancaster - She attended the Elected and Appointed Officials meeting on Wednesday for the <br />presentation from Pete Daiker on PEHP, Post Employement Health Plan. This is an alternate way <br />to pay sick and vacation carry-over but she felt a need for more facts and information on this <br />program. She also discussed the computer programer at the meeting and felt that the word <br />coordinator or consultant should be used instead. She suggested that an inventory of the <br />computer systems should be made. She also attended the interviews. <br /> <br />Long - He attended CNCS meeting in Loup City and worked Tuesday, Wednesday and <br />Thursday contacting applicatants for the sheriff position to set up the interviews on Friday. <br /> <br />Abernethy - She attended the Elected and Appointed Officials meeting on Wednesday, the Mid- <br />Nebraska Individual Services awards meeting, the Vets Memorial Services and the Memorial Day <br />services at Stuhr Museum. <br /> <br />Hartman - He attended the Mid Plains meeting and banquet and the meeting in Doniphan <br />concerning Amick Acres. He received some calls concerning roads and the need for gravel. <br /> <br />Quandt - He attended the Midland Area Agency on Aging meeting and the Veterans Club <br />Memorial Day service. He complimented Senator Chris Peterson for her representation of Grand <br />Island. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS: None <br /> <br />NEW AND UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Abernethy requested that the board members please <br />turn in the surveys. <br /> <br />11 :00 A.M. COMMENCE AUDIT OF MONTHLY CLAIMS <br /> <br />11:35 A.M.
