<br />c;? ;:/6f <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING MAY 20, 1997 <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met from adjourned session <br />and by published call May 20, 1997, at 9:05 a.m. in the County <br />Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island, Nebraska. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order by Vice Chair <br />Irene Abernethy. <br /> <br />INVOCATION: Invocation was given by Rev. Robert Harms with <br />Trinity Lutheran Church. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: The Pledge of Allegiance was given in <br />unison. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL: Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard <br />Hartman, Pamela Lancaster, Margaret Landis, Gary Quandt and <br />Tammie Stelk. Huey Long was not present. <br /> <br />PRESENT: Present were Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janu1ewicz, <br />news media representatives from the Grand Island Independent <br />and KRGI. <br /> <br />MINUUTES OF THE MAY 13 MEETING: Stelk made a motion and Landis <br />seconded to accept and place on file the minutes of the May <br />13 meeting, communications and the office reports of Linda <br />Zimmerman, Clerk of the District Court and Jean Fisher, Register <br />of Deeds. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Quandt and <br />Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />OFFICE REPORT CLERK OF DISTRICT COURT <br /> <br />DATE: Aoril 30, 1997 <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />Sul::Ini tted herewith is a check in the amount of <br /> <br />$3,045.40 <br /> <br />'Ihree thousand forty-five dollars and 40/100 <br /> <br />for fees collected in my office as Clerk of the District Court, Hall County, <br />Nebraska for the month of Aoril 1997 <br /> <br />Linda Zimmerman, Clerk of District Court <br /> <br />OFFICE REPORT REGISTER OF DEEDS <br /> <br />April, 1997 <br /> <br />Documentary Stamp Tax <br />Recording Fees <br />Photo Fees <br /> <br />$ 5,352.11 <br />13,344.50 <br />1,419.90 <br /> <br />TOTAL FOR MONTH OF APRIL <br /> <br />$ 20,116.51 <br />JEAN FISHER REGISTER OF DEEDS <br /> <br />COUNTY ATTORNEY: Deputy County attorney Jerry Janu1ewicz stated <br />that there had been several meetings concerning the Justice System <br />computer system that is to be install led in the Clerk of the District <br />Court's office in Hall County. John Cariotto, Associate, Administrator, <br />Daryl Wusk, with Health and Human Services and Joseph Steele with the <br />State Court Administration were present to layout the options and the <br />steps for Hall County to go on this computer system. Daryl Wusk, with <br />Health and Human Services, explained that in 1988 federal law required <br />that a computer system be developed and in place by 1995 to support <br />the collection, disbursement and enforcement of child support. There <br />will be two systems the Justice System and Charts. The current soft- <br />ware does not meet federal requirements and will be replaced by Charts. <br /> <br />I <br />
