<br />91;: /v7 <br /> <br />Stelk made a motion and Quandt seconded to go into a Board of <br />Equalization meeting. Abernethy, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt <br />and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried <br /> <br />Stelk made a motion and Lancaster seconded to go out of the Board <br />of Equalization meeting. Abernethy, Lancaster, Landis, Long, <br />Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COUNTY BOARD SECRETARY REPORT: Lisa Hagen, board secretary, received <br />a request from the TERC board to use the board room for July 17. The <br />board members stated this was fine. Jan Pelland, County Assessor, <br />also requested to use the board meeting room for the week of June <br />23 to June 30. It will be used for the informal protest hearings. <br />Lisa had also included her progress report in the board member's <br />packets. <br /> <br />Jan Pelland, County Assessor, reported that she had attended the show <br />cause hearing in Lincoln, and the Nebraska Tax Equalization and Review <br />Commission ruled that the level of assessment is satisfactory. <br /> <br />COUNTY BOARD MEMBER REPORTS: <br />Stelk - She attended the computer committee meeting to go over the <br />specs for the Election Commissioner's computer. She attended a <br />meeting Monday discussing the justice system computer for the Clerk <br />of the District Court. This item will be on the May 20 agenda. She <br />discussed the possibility of hiring a part time computer programer <br />for the various departments. She also attended the monthly meeting <br />of the Health Department Board. She requested that Landis be on computer <br />committee. <br />Quandt - None <br /> <br />Landis - She requested that Stelk attend the Senior Citizens meeting <br />because she would not be able to attend. She will give Lois Stienke <br />information she has on the grant application. The next Reuse meeting <br />will be September 10, 1997, and she will look at this agenda with <br />Jerry Janulewicz. Janulewicz was in Washington D.C., attending <br />meetings to hire a consultant. <br /> <br />Abernethy - She attended a meeting in Lincoln, on the governor's <br />conferance on restucturing, and the Habitat for Humanity's new <br />construction opening. <br /> <br />Lancaster - She stated the questions she had on the Health Department <br />Budget were answered. Some of the pages were not in her budget book. <br />She will be attending a meeting in Lincoln, on May 16, on the <br />Community Coalition for Justice. She also has a list of the members <br />of this committee. She also attended the computer committee meeting. <br />Long - He attended a meeting at Stuhr Museum and reported that they <br />are planning to build a new collection building. He met with Ellen <br />Totzke Friday, May 9. He requested that Vice Chair Irene Abernethy <br />conduct the meeting June 10. <br /> <br />NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Abernethy requested that the letter from <br />Bernard Monbouquette, concerning the Northern Ponca Housing Authority <br />be referred to Jerry Janulewicz. <br /> <br />The appointment to the Hall County Housing Authority Board will be <br />discussed next week. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS: The following committee report was read: <br />Vending Committee Recommendation <br /> <br />The Vending Committee recommends that Hall County Board allows R.
