q1~-131j .5 COUNTY BOARD SECRETARY REPORT - Lisa Hagen reported she received the final check from Hugh Minor for the bookmobile and will send a thank you letter. She provided the board members with her progress report. Discussion was held on the budget preparation. The Audit Committee will hold a meeting to begin preparations. COUNTY BOARD MEMBER REPORTS Quandt - No report. Stelk - She attended Health Board meeting and will attend a meeting with the election commissioner on upgrading her computer and a meeting on the communications tower Thursday. Abernethy - She showed the board a plaque that the Family Violence Coalition received. She attended the Criminal Justice meeting held April 1. Landis - Attended the Senior Citizens Council meeting and reported on the adult day care program and their need for additional funding. She met with Tom Shay and reported a consultant will be hired by July. Complimented Senators Barrett, Hagel and Kerry on their assistance for the FFA approval for the communications tower. Lancaster - She attended the Criminal Justice meeting, the Reuse meeting with Torn Shay and reported on the space at the VA Hospital. Discussion was held on a grant application for the Senior Citizens. Stelk will set up a meeting to discuss this. Long - He attended the Reuse meeting and the Housing Authority meeting. COMMITTEE REPORTS Building and grounds parking at Mid Plains Center - Mr Hartman stated this problem had been solved. Public Works Committee in regard to bids for a rubber tire loader. The following committee report was submitted. PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE REPORT The Hall County Public Works Committee recommends that the Hall County Board of Supervisors accept bids for 1 - 1997 4 cu. yd. rubber tired loader with the trade in of 1 - 1989 Dresser 530A loader, SIN 3470544U004426 on Tuesday, April 29, 1997 at 10:30 A.M. /i~y../~ Richard Hartman - Chairman ~C?(~ . v? v:/ _ I. c?5 J-; ~ Long .. ~~ CJ44A Gary Quan Daniel J. Hostler Public Works Director Stelk made a motion and Landis seconded to accept the committee recommendation on the rubber tire loader. Abernethy, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried.
