Motion carried. <br /> <br />COUNTY BOARD SECRETARY REPORT - Lisa Hagen, Board Secretary had presented <br />weekly progress report. <br /> <br />COUNTY BOARD MEMBER REPORTS - <br /> <br />Quandt - Attended Head Start Health Needs meeting, Have Paunch meeting at <br />5:00 p.m. today. Head Start meeting tonight at 6:00 p.m. Reported <br />on Senior citizen Industries meeting he attended (they are short on <br />cab tickets, will be rationing them for couple months as are unable <br />to get anymore) <br /> <br />Stelk Attended Health Board meeting last Tuesday evening, Attended <br />Convention & Visitors Bureau meeting yesterday, reported on the <br />Morman Trail wagon train May 3 & 4. <br /> <br />Hartman - Attended Mid Plains meeting last night, have Paunch meeting tonight, <br />Mid-Nebraska meeting tomorrow night. Hartman spoke in regard to <br />LB871 and LB587 which effect Mid Nebraska and also Mid Plains. <br /> <br />BOARD OF EQUALIZATION Motion by Quandt, seconded by Stelk to go into Board <br />of Equalization meeting. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Long, Quandt and <br />Stelk voted yes, none voted no, Landis was absent. Motion carried. <br />Board of Equalization meeting 1:44 P.M. <br />RETURNED TO BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING AT 1:49 p.m. <br /> <br />COUNTY BOARD MEMBER REPORTS <br />Abernethy - Attended Building & Grounds Committee meeting. Attended meeting <br />in Lincoln last Thursday for Nebraska Government Restructing. <br />County Board Audit Committee to meet tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. <br />Need to set a Criminal Justice Committee meeting, requested by <br />Sheriff. <br /> <br />Attended Legislative Meeting in Lincoln last week. Testified in <br />regard to LB812 in regard to health insurance and retirement <br />benefits for county board members. Also bill in regard to govern- <br />ment consolidation. <br /> <br />Hartman <br /> <br />Lancaster - Attended Public Defender organization Committee meeting, Safety <br />Committee meeting, and had spent time on the VA space to be avail- <br />able. She requested notice to departments in regard to inform- <br />ing County Board memabers of accident and safety reports. <br /> <br />Motion by Lancaster, seconded by Hartman to notify department heads that <br />quarterly reports are to include safety & accident reports. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Long - Attended Public Defender organization meeting, the Economic Develop- <br />ment meeting, Museum Board meeting yesterday, Will not attend the <br />CNCS meeting but plans to attend the Paunch meeting tonight. <br />
