Max Boersen, Hall County Building Inspector <br />and Dave Barber, Regional Planning Director were present during the hearing <br />and spoke in regard to the recommendation. <br /> <br />No others from audience spoke in support or opposition to the permit. <br /> <br />Motion by Abernethy, seconded by Stelk to close the Public Hearing. Abernethy, <br />Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Hartman <br />was absent. Motion carried. Closed hearing at 11:27 a.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Landis, seconded by Stelk to approve the conditional use permit with <br />restrictions of 100 feet of 80th Road and Schultz Road. Discussion on the <br />100 foot restriction and reasons. Landis again read the Conditions of <br />approval from the Conditional Use Committee and question was called for. <br />Abernethy, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. <br />Hartman was absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />11:29 A.M. PUBLIC HEARING to consider adopting the 1996 National Electrical <br />Code. Affidavit of publication was read as published in Grand Island <br />Independent on February 1, 1997. <br />Max Boersen, Hall County Building Inspector was present and spoke in <br />regard to the codes to be adopted. State and City of Grand Island have <br />adopted the codes. <br />No one from audience spoke in support or opposition to the codes. <br />Motion by Landis, seconded by Quandt to close Public Hearing. Abernethy, <br />Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Hartman <br />was absent. Motion carried. <br />Public Hearing was closed at 11:37 a.m. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #97--0009 was presented. Motion by Stelk, seconded by Lancaster <br />to adopt Resolution #97-0009 for the 1996 National Electrical codes. Aber- <br />nethy, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. <br />Hartman was absent. Motion carried. <br />
