<br />q~~0490 <br /> <br />APPROVE FINAL PLATS FOR J & S RILEY, D & E AND ROTH SECOND SUB: <br />Arnold made a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve the final <br />plats for J & S Riley, D & E and Roth Second Subdivision. <br />Arnold, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all <br />voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />APPROVE BID SPECS FOR COMPUTER: The bid specs for the technical <br />portion have been put together but some additional work needs to <br />be done so this will be addressed on December 22. Discussion was <br />held on the procedure used for the bid specifications. The <br />specifications and the bid opening will need to be approved by <br />the county board. The computer committee will address these <br />questions and clarify. <br /> <br />10:30 A.M. PUBLIC HEARING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR NITRO <br />CONSTRUCTION: Stelk made a motion and Lancaster seconded to open <br />the public hearing for the CONDITIONAL use permit for Nitro <br />Construction. Arnold, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt <br />and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Building Inspector Max Boersen and Ron Vlach with Nitro <br />Construction were present. This is a request to renew the <br />conditional use permit for 10 years. Chairman Hartman called for <br />comments and no one responded. The first permit was approved <br />September 27, 1988. Max Boersen stated that is was satisfactory <br />to renew this permit for 10 years again. <br /> <br />Quandt made a motion and Stelk seconded to close the public <br />hearing. Arnold, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and <br />Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Quandt made a motion and Long seconded to approve the conditional <br />use permit for Nitro Construction for 10 years. Arnold, Hartman, <br />Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION AND ACTION ON RECOMMENDATION FOR BOARD ASSISTANT <br />POSITION: Stelk stated that the personnel committee met and <br />updated the job description for the board assistant position. <br />They recommended to advertise the position December 13, 20 and 27 <br />with the application to be received in the County Clerk's office <br />by 5:00 p.m. on January 8 and copies of the application will be <br />distributed to the board members on January 11. The week of <br />January 18 to the 22 interviews will be held. Discussion on the <br />salary was held and it was decided to set a range of $20,000.00 <br />to $25,000.00 plus benefits. The purchasing agent position was <br />not included in the board assistant job. The job description was <br />reviewed and clarified and was approved.
