<br />CfcgF (r)~~{ <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING NOVEMBER 10, 1998 <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met from adjourned session <br />and by published call in the county board meeting room, 121 South <br />Pine, Grand Island, Nebraska, November 10, 1998 at 9:00 a.m. <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Richard Hartman. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Father Marty Egging. <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> <br />Present on roll call were Richard Hartman, Pamela Lancaster, <br />Margaret Landis, Huey Long, Gary Quandt and Tammie Stelk. Also <br />present were Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz and news <br />media representatives from the Grand Island Independent and KRGI. <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE OCTOBER 27 MEETING: Stelk made a motion and <br />Lancaster seconded to accept and place on file the minutes of the <br />October 27 meeting. Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and <br />Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COUNTY ATTORNEY - CONSIDER AND ADOPT RESOLUTION AMENDING THE HALL <br />COUNTY ZONING RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE CONTROLS ON THE ESTABLISHMENT <br />OF INTENSIVE HOG CONFINEMENT FACILITIES: The public hearing <br />concerning this matter was held October 27 and this is the <br />resolution to amend the zoning regulations. Stelk made a motion <br />and Quandt seconded to approve Resolution # 98-0070 to amend the <br />Hall County zoning resolution to provide controls on the <br />establishment of intensive hog confinement facilities. Hartman, <br />Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none <br />voted no. Motion carried <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #98-..D..mD <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE HALL COUNTY ZONING RESOLUTION TO <br />PROVIDE CONTROLS ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF INTENSIVE HOG <br />CONFINEMENT FACILITIES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Regional Planning Commission, <br />hereinafter referred to as the "Commission," held October 7, 1998, the Commission held a <br />public hearing and considered proposed amendments to the Hall County Zoning Resolution <br />to control establishment of intensive hog confinement facilities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Commission, by a unanimous vote of the eleven members present, <br />recommended that the Hall County Board of Supervisors amend the Hall County Zoning <br />Resolution to incorporate the changes proposed in attachment "A," which is attached hereto <br />and incorporated herein as though fully set forth; and <br />
