<br />COUNTY BOARD SECRETARY REPORT: Lisa Hagen stated she received an
<br />invitation from the Hall County Housing Authority for lunch for
<br />the board members and she wanted to know if August 11 would work.
<br />She will contact them with this date. The land-use plan board
<br />would like a representative from the Hall County Board of
<br />Supervisors. Hartman stated that Margaret Landis or Huey Long
<br />will attend.
<br />
<br />TAX CORRECTION NOTICES: County Assessor Jan Pelland presented tax
<br />correction notices #1928 to #1934. Abernethy made a motion and
<br />Stelk seconded to authorize the Chair to sign tax correction
<br />notices #1928 to #1934. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis,
<br />Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion
<br />carried.

<br />CLAIM AUDIT AND ACTION ON AUDIT: The board members reviewed the
<br />claims and will break for lunch and return at 1:30 p.m. to
<br />complete the claim audit.

<br />Quandt made a motion and Landis seconded to pay all claims as
<br />audited except for claim #9807299 to St. Francis Hospital that is
<br />to be held for clarification. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster,
<br />Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no.
<br />Motion carried.

<br />BOARD MEMBERS REPORTS: Quandt - He asked if city police
<br />protection continues in the two-mile jurisdiction and if so this
<br />coverage would extend into Merrick County. He also asked if the
<br />conditional use committee is going to address the zoning of
<br />smaller lots in the county to build homes. Landis stated she
<br />will have a conditional use committee meeting to address this.
