She reported that EDC <br />is supportive of the county's concern to pave county roads for <br />future economic development. <br /> <br />Hartman - He attended th audit committee and the weed committee <br />meetings and reported that Mid-Plains is doing well. They are <br />proceeding with plans to find a location for the juvenile <br />facility and are also working on the girls home. <br /> <br />TAX CORRECTION NOTICES: County Assessor Jan Pelland presented tax <br />correction notices #1917 to #1927. Quandt made a motion and Long <br />seconded to authorize the Chair to initial tax correction notices <br />#1917 to #1927. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long and <br />Quandt all voted yes and none voted no, with Stelk absent. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Hartman appointed Ned Meier, Loran Schutte, Margaret Landis, Huey <br />Long, Dave Barber and Bob Lowry to the land-use committee with <br />Richard Hartman and Pamela Lancaster as alternates. <br /> <br />Hartman appointed Gary Quandt and Huey Long to work on a <br />composting site committee. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 12:15 a.m. The next meeting will be July <br />14, 1998, at 9:00 a.m. <br /> <br /> <br />t!1 d/40Qy ~y Clerk <br /> <br />/1 <br />
