<br />?~~ffg <br /> <br />CARROLL SHELDON - LAND USE PLAN: Carroll Sheldon and Ned Meier <br />thanked Hall County for participating the land-use plan. Mr. <br />Sheldon cited instances where building projects and other <br />development were stopped because that environmentalists declared <br />the acres critical. This land use plan establishes the <br />developemtn lifestyle, custom and culture of acres and enables <br />counties to negotiate its use. The costs involved will be <br />divided between the participating counties. Don Adams with <br />Nebraska First distributed information and provided a recording <br />for the board to listen to. They will now need 6 people from <br />each county to be on the committee to meetwith the attorneys. <br />Mr. Sheldon also cited other projects that will remove acres from <br />the tax roles. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION TO DISCUSS LITIGATION STRATEGY REGARDING HALL <br />COUNTY PUBLIC DEFENDERS ORGANIZATION: Stelk made a motion and <br />Lancaster seconded to go into executive session. Hartman, <br />Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none <br />voted no, with Abernethy absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />10:33 a.m. executive session <br /> <br />10:52 a.m. Long made a motion and Stelk seconded to go out of <br />executive session. Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and <br />Stelk all voted yes and none voted no, with Abernethy absent. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Stelk made a motion and Long seconded to approve paying Denny <br />Busick $599.70. Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and <br />Stelk all voted yes and none voted no, with Abernethy absent. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION: Stelk made a motion and Long seconded to go <br />into executive session to discuss negotiations strategy for <br />public works CWA collective bargaining unit and personnel. <br />Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes <br />and none voted no, with Abernethy absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />10:53 a.m. executive session <br /> <br />11:45 a.m. Stelk made a motion and Lancaster seconded to go out <br />of executive session. Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt <br />and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no, with Abernethy absent. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />11:47 a.m. Stelk made a motion and Lancaster seconded to go into <br />a Board of Corrections meeting.
