Mr.
Sheldon cited instances where building projects and other
development were stopped because that environmentalists declared
the acres critical. This land use plan establishes the
developemtn lifestyle, custom and culture of acres and enables
counties to negotiate its use. The costs involved will be
divided between the participating counties. Don Adams with
Nebraska First distributed information and provided a recording
for the board to listen to. They will now need 6 people from
each county to be on the committee to meetwith the attorneys.
Mr. Sheldon also cited other projects that will remove acres from
the tax roles.

EXECUTIVE SESSION TO DISCUSS LITIGATION STRATEGY REGARDING HALL
COUNTY PUBLIC DEFENDERS ORGANIZATION: Stelk made a motion and
Lancaster seconded to go into executive session.
