<br />9? ;::tf/~~ <br /> <br />PUBLIC DEFENDER REQUEST TO HIRE ADDITIONAL ATTORNEY:A committee <br />consisting of Huey Long, Pamela Lancaster and Richard Hartman <br />will meet to consider this request. <br /> <br />JOINT MEETING WITH CITY TO DISCUSS HEALTH DEPARTMENT BUDGET AND <br />YEARLY REPORT: Stelk made a motion and Quandt seconded to set <br />the joint meeting for June 1 at 6:00 p.m. Abernethy, Hartman <br />Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />UPDATE ON RAILROAD CROSSING AND SET PUBLIC HEARING TO CLOSE <br />RAILROAD CROSSINGS: Dan Rosentahl contacted Tammie Stelk <br />concer.nirgthese crossing and sent a letter answering the <br />questions the board had asked. They replied that there will be <br />60 trains per day after completion of the second main and <br />Burlington Northern can put out an order asking that 70th Street <br />not be blocked. October 1 is the completion date for the second <br />main and August 1 would be the date for the crossing work to be <br />done. Stelk made a motion and Abernethy seconded to set the <br />public hearing for June 1 at 7:30 p.m. Abernethy, Hartman, <br />Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />ADA COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: The ADA committee recommended the <br />following: <br /> <br />1. Two new handicap parking spaces at the Public Safety Center for 5900.00. <br /> <br />2. One steel flush door and frame at the Hall Cmmty Park for $935 from Island Glass <br />Company for the ADA outdoor bathroom <br /> <br />3. New handicap parking area next to bathroom and in camp area for $7,090.75 from <br />The Diamond Engineering Company. <br /> <br />4. New ADA unisex bathroom at Hall County Park next to shop and outside drinking <br />fountain from Island PlUI11bing Company, Inc. for $1,859.00 <br /> <br />Expenses will be taken from the ADA budget. <br /> <br />Stelk made a motion and Landis seconded to accept the ADA <br />Committee recommendation.
