~F~~g reported that the justice system computer is doing well and the computer committee is looking at computerization plan for the county. There was a Health Board meeting on April 9 and she will have an ADA meeting on May 6. Landis - She attended the Economic Development meetingt the prison meetingst the ADA meeting~ the Area 4 Ag-land valuation board meeting in Loup City and a parks committee meeting. Lancaster - She reported on the computer committee meeting and stated the backbone of the network needs to be improved and some one in the county needs to take over the computerization issues. The safety committee has recommended compensation for the director this needs to be addressed for the computer committee also. She stated Senior Citizens did not have the right dates for the meetings. She also attended the Convention and Visitors Bureau quarterly meeting and May 3 to 9 will be National Tourism Week. Wings Over the Plat estimates the value of crane season at 48.5 million dollars. Quandt - He attended the parks committee meetingt the prison meetingst Senior Citizens meetingt the ADA and building and grounds meetings. Long - He attended CNCS meeting in Loup CitYt the Stuhr Museum board meetingt the prison meetings and a video conference at Collage Park and the bill signing for the location of the law enforcement training center in Grand Island. He also attended a building and grounds committee meeting. He also went to Lincoln and went on a refueling flight of a C-4. Abernethy - She toured the buildings with Jason Clancy on his inspection and there could be some spring cleaning. She attended the Family Violence meetingt Head Start meetingt building and grounds committee meetingt parks committee meeting and the ADA meeting. Hartman - He attended the public works committee meetingt the prison meetings and the bill signing in Lincoln for the law enforcement training center. He said that the Alda Park needs cleaned up. A letter will be sent to NRD concering this problem. The ADA committee needs to purchase the signs for the buildings and one company will do the signs for $4t400.00. Landis made a motion and Quandt seconded to purchase the signs for the ADA committee. AbernethYt Hartmant Lancastert Landist Longt Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS: The letter addressing the concerns on Stolley Park Road was referred to the public works director. Stelk stated she will have to leave the board meeting early on April 28. Abernethy suggested that the facilities committee meet to address the heat in the health department building.
