<br />~F~~g <br /> <br />reported that the justice system computer is doing well and the <br />computer committee is looking at computerization plan for the <br />county. There was a Health Board meeting on April 9 and she <br />will have an ADA meeting on May 6. <br /> <br />Landis - She attended the Economic Development meetingt the <br />prison meetingst the ADA meeting~ the Area 4 Ag-land valuation <br />board meeting in Loup City and a parks committee meeting. <br /> <br />Lancaster - She reported on the computer committee meeting and <br />stated the backbone of the network needs to be improved and some <br />one in the county needs to take over the computerization issues. <br />The safety committee has recommended compensation for the <br />director this needs to be addressed for the computer committee <br />also. She stated Senior Citizens did not have the right dates <br />for the meetings. She also attended the Convention and Visitors <br />Bureau quarterly meeting and May 3 to 9 will be National Tourism <br />Week. Wings Over the Plat estimates the value of crane season at <br />48.5 million dollars. <br /> <br />Quandt - He attended the parks committee meetingt the prison <br />meetingst Senior Citizens meetingt the ADA and building and <br />grounds meetings. <br /> <br />Long - He attended CNCS meeting in Loup CitYt the Stuhr Museum <br />board meetingt the prison meetings and a video conference at <br />Collage Park and the bill signing for the location of the law <br />enforcement training center in Grand Island. He also attended a <br />building and grounds committee meeting. He also went to Lincoln <br />and went on a refueling flight of a C-4. <br /> <br />Abernethy - She toured the buildings with Jason Clancy on his <br />inspection and there could be some spring cleaning. She attended <br />the Family Violence meetingt Head Start meetingt building and <br />grounds committee meetingt parks committee meeting and the ADA <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Hartman - He attended the public works committee meetingt the <br />prison meetings and the bill signing in Lincoln for the law <br />enforcement training center. He said that the Alda Park needs <br />cleaned up. A letter will be sent to NRD concering this problem. <br /> <br />The ADA committee needs to purchase the signs for the buildings <br />and one company will do the signs for $4t400.00. Landis made a <br />motion and Quandt seconded to purchase the signs for the ADA <br />committee. AbernethYt Hartmant Lancastert Landist Longt Quandt <br />and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS: The letter addressing the concerns on <br />Stolley Park Road was referred to the public works director. <br />Stelk stated she will have to leave the board meeting early on <br />April 28. Abernethy suggested that the facilities committee meet <br />to address the heat in the health department building. <br />
