John Clinch, 2605 <br />Arrowhead stated he is for economic development but not in favor <br />of the prison and wants a vote. The public hearing on March 31 <br />will give everyone the opportunity to speak. Quandt wants it put <br />to the vote of the people also. Deputy County Attorney Jerry <br />Janulewicz stated the state statutes set forth the procedures of <br />an election and the interpretations could vary. Landis' motion <br />to put to a vote of the people if Hall County should proceed with <br />phase 2 of the prison application process was voted on. <br />Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all <br />voted yes and none voted no.
