<br />9%" f:c;CJ61 <br /> <br />Stelk - She reported on the proposed food codes and from the <br />County Board meeting two weeks ago there will be two public <br />meetings at the extension office on March 2 and 4 at 7:00 p.m. to <br />address these codes. These codes are not new and they just want <br />to implement the codes. She attended the NACO meeting in Kearney <br />the long range planning meeting, the library board meeting and a <br />computer committee meeting. <br /> <br />Hartman - He attended a meeting in Doniphan concerning black <br />topping South Locust to the Adams County line and he reported <br />that Hall County will not have to pay for the stop lights at <br />Doniphan and Bosselman intersections the State will cover the <br />cost. <br /> <br />Abernethy requested that the resolution from Merrick County <br />supporting the state prison in Hall County to be read. <br /> <br />COMMENCE AUDIT OF MONTHLY CLAIMS AND ACTION ON CLAIM AUDIT: <br />Quandt made a motion and Landis seconded to approve the claims as <br />audited. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, and Stelk <br />all voted yes and none voted no, with Long absent. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS: The following report was read. <br /> <br />PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE REPORT <br /> <br />The Public Works Committee recommends that the Hall County Board <br />of Supervisors accept bids on the following trucks: <br /> <br />1 - New 1999 2.0 ton truck chassis only with the trade-in <br />of 1 1987 Chevrolet <br /> <br />1 New 1999 truck/tractor with the trade-in of 1 1974 <br />Freightliner <br /> <br />The committee recommends that the bids to be received until 10:30 <br />a.m. on Tuesday March 24, 1998. <br /> <br />Quandt made a motion and Landis seconded to accept the public <br />works committee report and set the bid opening for March 24, <br />1998, at 10:30 a.m. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, LANDIS, <br />Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no, with Long <br />absent.
