BOARD OF CORRECTIONS: Stelk made a motion and <br />Lancaster seconded to go into a board of corrections meeting. <br />Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all <br />voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />11:37 a.m Returned to regular session. <br /> <br />11:40 a.m. Stelk made a motion to go into a Board of Equalization <br />meeting. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and <br />Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />11:45 a.m. Returned to regular session. <br /> <br />TAX CORRECTION NOTICES: Quandt made a motion and Long seconded <br />to authorize the Chair to initial tax correction notices #1825 to <br />#1838. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and <br />Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />JASON CLANCY COUNTY MODEL LOSS CONTROL MANUAL: Jason Clancy with <br />NIRMA stated that according to LB757 the counties must address <br />forming a safety committee set up preventive programs. There is <br />now a model loss control manual with updates that will be <br />released on a quarterly basis. The Nebraska Department of Labor <br />uses OSHA guidelines to implement LB757. Landis stated that Hall <br />County has an excellent safety committee and they have been <br />waiting for the manual. Mr. Clancy presented the manual to the <br />Chair and it will be forwarded to Ed Saege~ chair of the safety <br />committee. <br /> <br />COUNTY BOARD SECRETARY REPORT: Lisa Hagen included her progress <br />report in the packets and requested the board members to sign the <br />letter to the judges. The Hall County Sheriff and the TERC board <br />have requested to use the county board meeting room. <br /> <br />BOARD MEMBERS REPORTS: Quandt - He attended the building and <br />grounds committee meeting and reported that there is a plumbing <br />problem at the court house and he attended the public works <br />committee meeting. He requested that Lancaster be appointed as <br />chair to some committees. <br /> <br />Long - He attended an airport authority meeting, a prison meeting, <br />the Midland Area Agency on Aging meeting, and a luncheon meeting <br />~ith the Economic Development Corporation. He also attended a <br />facilities planning meeting, an audit committee meeting and a <br />building and grounds committee meeting and a meeting in Lincoln <br />on running a campaign. <br /> <br />Stelk -Sheattended an insurance committee meeting, a computer <br />committee meeting and reported that a memo had been sent <br />concerning the justice computer system/but only Alice Mahood <br />
