<br />f3P~CJdJ g <br /> <br />Lancaster - She attended theReuse meetings and supports the Reuse <br />plan and on February 28, Joe Higgins will present a program on <br />the Cornhusker Army Ordinance Plant history. She attended an <br />election committee meeting discussing early election returns and <br />the media. <br /> <br />Landis - She attended the election committee, ADA committee and <br />the audit committee meeting was rescheduled. The Reuse meetings <br />will be coming to an end and she thanked Jerry Janulewicz and <br />Lisa Hagen for their work and thanked all the Reuse members. <br /> <br />Stelk - She attended the election committee meeting and the board <br />room will need to be used for the primary election. She attended <br />the tower committee meeting and stated the tower was an excellent <br />use for keno funds. She reported that a letter was received <br />concerning the rest stops on the interstate and the CVB was <br />informed that Grand Island's rest stops will not be staffed. <br />This was a concern to the CVB board and they hope to meet with <br />the Nebraska Department of Tourism to discuss this matter. <br /> <br />Hartman - He attended the Mid-Plains and Mid Nebraska Individual <br />Services, the insurance committee meeting and the parks <br />committee. <br /> <br />TAX CORRECTION NOTICES: County Assessor Jan Pelland presented tax <br />correction notices #1792 to 1810 for Mr. Long to initial and <br />notices #1811 to 1824 for Mr. Hartman to initial. Stelk made a <br />motion and Abernethy seconded to have Mr. Long sign #1792 to 1810 <br />and Mr. Hartman to sign #1811 to 1824. Abernethy, Hartman, <br />Lancaster, Landis, Long, quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />SAFETY COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: The Hall county Safety Committee <br />recommended that there be no open flames or heated potpourri pots <br />in Hall County offices. Lancaster made a motion and Quandt <br />seconded to accept the recommendation and notify all departments. <br />Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all <br />voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Lisa Hagen reminded the board members <br />of the County Board Workshop February 11.
