9:10 A.M. Held a Board of Equalizatian meeting <br /> 9:27 a.m. Returned to the regular meeting. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION — Chairman Lancaster called for public participation and no one <br /> responded. <br /> 4. COUNTY ATTORNEY— DISCUSSION $� POSSIBLE ACTION TO RAISE SHELTER FEES <br /> IN HALL COUNTY PARK— D�puty County Attorney Sarah Johnsvn was present. McFarland <br /> stated that this was discussed Monday at the facilities committee meeting and Mr. Quandt <br /> wanted to increase the fees mare. He stated that he would like ta be in line with the fees that <br /> are charged at the state parks. The new resolution would raise the fees to $20.00 for the green <br /> shelter and $10.00 for the white shelter. Quandt stated that this is a reservation fee. <br /> Mr. Purdy noted that the state parks charge $40.p0 and $50.00 if reserved in advance and there <br /> is a $7.00 reservation fe� in additian to the rental fee. <br /> Lancaster stated that building and grounds was concerned if the fees were increased ta that <br /> level it could exclude some peaple this was not a unanimaus decision. <br /> Casey Sherlack pointed out that the state parks have an annual park permit fe� of$26.p0 and <br /> the daily is $5.00 per v�hicle. <br /> Arnold stated that the r�s�rvation fee is a way to insure that people have access to the shelters <br /> and can plan ahead. <br /> Ziala made a motion to come back in 2 weeks on this issue. Lancaster stated that there needs <br /> to be direction on the amounts to be charged for the fees and asked if the board was satisfied <br /> with the amount of the fees. Arnold suggested raising the fees to $15.00 and $25.00. Quandt <br /> stated they n�ed to be comparab�� to the state fees. <br /> Arnold made a motion and Schuppan seconded ta set the fees at $15.00 and $25.00. He noted <br /> that there is some administrative timE that is also involved. Arnold, Lancaster,.McFarland, <br /> Purdy and Schuppan all voted yes and Ziola and Quandt voted no. Motion carried. <br /> The resolution will be changed and brought back in 2 weeks to a rove. <br /> PP <br /> 9:30 A.M. Held a Board af Correctians meeting <br /> 10:20 A.M. Returned to the regular meeting. <br /> 6. 10:00 A.M. PUBLIC WORK$ — PUBLIC HEARING 1 & 6 ROAD PROGRAM I <br /> APPROVE RESOLUTION FOR THE 1 8� 6 ROAD PROGRAM - Quandt made a motion and <br /> Ziola seconded to open the public hearing for the 1 8� 6 Year Road Program. Arnold, Lancaster, <br /> McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> County Surveyor Casey Sherlack presented the 2013 201�} 1 & 6 Year Road Program. He <br /> reminded th� baard af the request to change the dates for the road program but that could not <br /> be changed for this year. <br /> z <br />
